A Couple of Weeks Later
Nothing else has happened to New Haven. The Missouri group have been doing their jobs and keeping their heads down not trying to get into trouble. Summer, CJ, and Jesse have been learning the ropes of being a warrior while Danny has been training with Diego everyday. Ella and Stella have been going to "school" with Jaron, Bree, and Trey.
Zarie has been getting information from all the woman she has talked to. Jeff and Gracelyn are doing their jobs in the hospital.Everything seems normal for what this world has become, but the Lord is getting anxious because Jason hasn't gotten the people he told him to deliver to the Underground for their deal.
The Underground's leader is very strong and will take whatever he wants. He will come for this community with his survivors.
Jason walked into the penthouse room and saw Wyatt sitting by the window in a lounge chair.
"Why haven't you gotten the kids for the underground yet?" He asked while sitting up.
"Because they are always with someone." Jason replied.
"Then figure it out. Lie if you have to." Wyatt told him before walking off into the bedroom followed by Freya.
Jason pulled out a walkie talkie and said, "All adults meet in the courtyard." Then on another channel, he said, "Get the two kids, actually make it three." Jason looked down at Stella and Jaron through the window.

Summer was standing next to Tony and Dean in the courtyard looking for the rest of the adults of their group. "What even is all this?" She asked Tony.
"I don't know, maybe a check to see how everyone is doing." Tony replied.
Zarie, Jeff, CJ, and Gracelyn all saw Summer and went over to her and stood by them. "Where is Jesse?" Dean asked realizing he wasn't there.
"Oh, he was out this morning on a run with Maya, Terrell, and Diego." Gracelyn said back to the older man. "They aren't here."
Freya got up on one of the guard towers and had a megaphone, she shouted into the thing, "The Lord wanted me to tell all of you about the possibility of a horde coming to attack. We need everyone to stay calm, the threat may not be real." Freya looked around and saw worried faces and when hers met with Winnie's, she frowned.
Winnie knew something was up so she pushed her way through to get to her brother in his penthouse.

Stella and Jaron were in the hotel walking through the hallways when they heard a bunch of screaming coming from the courtyard, they sounded like screams of confusion.
Both of the young teens saw Danny running down the hallway right towards them, "Did you two hear? A horde is coming right for us." Danny said as he got to them.
"We should find my mother." Jaron told them as he turned to run towards the courtyard.
"I don't think so." said Jason as he hit Jaron across the face with gun. There was two other warriors with him, one guy with reddish brown hair and an older woman with silk grey hair. "Get them!" Jason shouted as Danny and Stella turned around to run the other way, but were both quickly knocked out.

Terrell was walking through the streets of Chicago when he heard a truck driving down the street. "Get down, quick!" Terrell ordered as he knelt down behind a car with Maya right by his side.
Diego was behind another car while Jesse was down on the ground hidden behind a box of trash.
"Who is that?" Maya asked Terrell.
"I have no clue." He peaked through the window of the car with Maya seeing the truck pull up and a few people got out running into a building. Terrell looked over at Diego and gestured for him to get over to him. Once Diego was right next to Terrell, he said, "We need to check out what they are doing." Diego pulled out his swords while Terrell and Maya had their guns ready. Jesse had a knife in hand while he got over to Terrell.
"Are there other groups in Chicago?" Jesse asked confused.
"Not that we know of, there was a few small groups like yours that would come here and there and there is the thieves that live a few streets away, but no one else or at least that is what Wyatt told us." Maya explained as she watched the people bring out boxes full of supplies.

In the back of a semi-truck container, Danny woke and looked around. He saw Stella and Jaron tied up still unconscious.
When the container started to open, Danny saw Jason standing there talking to a black haired lady holding a rifle.
"Good job, these three are perfect for the test." The woman told Jason. A couple of men lowered the ramp to go into the container and grabbed Danny who started to flail, but couldn't do much since they were much bigger than him. "Let me go!" He shouted as he glared at Jason for betraying him and everyone at New Haven.
"Get the other two, bring them into my lab." The woman ordered the pair of big strong men. Danny was brought down a long staircase that he had no idea where he was. When the door at the bottom open, it revealed a huge underground community looking place.
There was tents everywhere and even a few small buildings underneath the city. There were tunnels that connected to other places in the city.
"Where am I?" Danny muttered to himself as he was brought to a small wooden building that looked like it was constructed after the outbreak.
"You are in the Underground." The black haired lady said with a smile. She heard Danny say what he said to himself.

Winnie burst through the door of the penthouse suite and walked right over to her brother who was looking over the courtyard. "I know that there is no horde coming so what are you planning, big bro?!" Winnie shouted.
"Nothing you need to know about, this isn't important and it is none of your business." The Lord replied.
"It is when you involved Freya!" Winnie responded loudly and firmly.
"And what is your relationship with my maid?" Wyatt asked confusedly.
"I'm dating her!" She shouted right back at him and Wyatt quickly added, "I knew it. I don't care if you are a lesbian, I just want you to be happy and right now you aren't going to be. I traded a couple of people to the underground for their testing." Wyatt faced his sister. "I never wanted to hurt people, I have to do what is right for everyone, not just a few people."
"Coward! Why didn't you sacrifice yourself for this community, huh, instead you trade civilian lives to protect your own. How pathetic!" Winnie shouted before storming out of the suite.

Terrell snuck up to the building all the people were entering and bringing stuff in and out with Diego and Maya right behind him. Jesse was staying back with a sniper rifle aimed for the door of the building.
He motioned for Maya to open the door while he stormed in with his gun ready because none of the people had guns. She opened the door and Terrell ran in with his gun up pointing it around the room that was now empty.
"Where did they go?!" Maya said as he entered the room. Diego was looking around when he saw something. A little hatch that was wide open.
"Over here." Diego motioned and Terrell looked down the hatch.
"Where does it lead?" asked Maya as she went to the door to get Jesse to come over.
"Only one way to find out." Diego said with his signature smirk. Terrell started to enter the hatch when Jesse got to the room holding his big, long sniper.
"Shouldn't we go back?" He asked Maya as she followed the other two men into the hatch.
"Probably, but Terrell is our leader so we do what he does." Maya turned back to the hatch and kept following the other two. Jesse reluctantly followed the other warriors very nervous.
