The Beginning of the End

Part 16-The Fall Part 2

Winnie and Freya were hugging each other when Bradley walked towards them, smirking saying, "This place might be my new home. I will finally be out of a cramped tent."

Winnie and Freya both closed their eyes hoping that this would end just as the door opened with Terrell and Maya shooting their guns, hitting the Undergrounders while Opal moved behind a flipped over table with Bradley by her side.

"Winnie, Freya, get out of here!" Terrell shouted while the couple got up, running towards Maya who was gonna lead them through the hotel.

"Looks like you are the last one here." Bradley said standing up and aiming his gun at Terrell with Opal by his side.

"Let her go because I just want to talk." Bradley said lowering his gun while he gestured for Opal to leave. Terrell kept his gun aimed at Bradley.

"We need to get to the cars that we have set up for an escape down in the parking garage underneath the hotel." Dean told the group who were all standing around in a circle in the pouring rain, discussing what to do next.

"I have to go find my mom, she's probably upstairs in her room," Eve mumbled, quietly and Stella was the only one who heard her. Eve walked off without anyone noticing and Stella quickly followed.

"Let's get to the gun shed, if those people get more weapons, this city will fall fast." said Diego who saw Danny look over at him out of the corner of his eye.

"I'll go with you," Danny said while Ella, CJ, and Jesse went along with Diego.

"The rest of us need to start getting to the cars. Getting out of here is our first priority." Summer said looking around not seeing Stella.

"Where's Stella?" She asked looking at Logan.

"I don't know, Eve is gone as well." Logan replies seeing a few Undergrounders coming towards them.

Dean shot his gun followed by Summer and Gracelyn which made the Undergrounders go down another alleyway. "I'm gonna go check the hospital to make sure the patients are safe." Gracelyn said, going over to Zarie, seeing Cassie in her arms. She kissed Cassie's head before running off holding up her gun.

"Stella's missing, I'm going to go find her, take the rest of them to the cars." Summer told Dean who nodded while Logan followed Summer with Maggie close behind. The rest of them made their way to the hotel basement.

Brennan heard someone coming behind him from on top of a building about 100 feet from New Haven, "Corina, you aren't supposed to walk up on people anymore!" He shouted as he pointed a knife to her throat after he stood up from the sniper.

"Sorry, Brennan, just drop the knife." Corina said while he backed off of her.

"Bradley, he's becoming like that Wyatt guy...he isn't the same person I met a few weeks back." said Brennan as he sat down, putting his hands on his head.

"He is trying to protect us, and he is just doing what is necessary." Corina responded to the teen guy.

"No, it isn't right. I shouldn't have put all those innocent people in danger." Brennan said. "I'm going to help them." Corina put her hand on Brennan's chest pushing him back.

"That isn't a good idea."

"The front gate, look, walkers!" Ella shouted as she ran towards the shed and gate. A horde of walkers started coming through the gate going towards the gun fire.

Diego shot a couple making his way to the shed opening the door allowing the others to get through. CJ, Danny, and Ella made it through just as Diego saw that Jesse was being surrounded. He shot a walker that was about tackle Jesse which let Jesse run away to find a hiding spot.
