Some days were better, she got out of bed and ate food and laughed and argued with friends. Others...well, not so great. Vertigo was a highly addictive drug and close to impossible to get over. On those days, she didn't get up, she didn't eat, or sleep, just laid there, either in pain or she felt like one move would break her. Sometimes Wally or Megan would try hard to get her out of bed, but failed and they knew they would never be successful in their mission.

Today was a good day. Oliver Queen (she had not a single idea why a Starling millionaire would teach a PE class) was showing them how to knock and shoot an arrow. Roy helped him and shot a bullseye without even looking at the target. She had let the arrow go and split Roy's arrow down the middle. He didn't say anything, just a small look of anger then that knowing smirk that was usually plastered on his face. Robin's arrow was on the inner ring of the target. Conner was told to sit it out after him almost destroying the large bow and arrow he was given. Roy seemed annoyed with Wally for telling him he had something to worry about, his position as the best archer in a troubled youth hospital.

"Wally, run," Oliver said.

"Finally," Wally muttered and took off sprinting toward the almost purple mountains surrounding them. She hadn't noticed how pretty the scenery was. Gray-blue skies with white clouds, the ground had to be the greenest grass you'd ever seen. She caught glimpses of Wally's red hair. "Forget my apple," he said, grabbing the red that almost matched his hair and dashed away again.

"Where is he going?"

"Stretching his legs," Robin said. "He was the star of his school track team, he got used to running everyday, which is something he can't do inside."

"I think he finds it calming," Megan said.

"He's fast," Artemis commented.

"He can run a mile in four minutes or less," Robin said, pulling something from his pocket and throwing it at the target. It fluttered to the ground. A card.

"Isn't that some kind of record?"

"He downplays it a lot, despite him sometimes being an arrogant prick, praise scares him a little." Conner said, standing up, for once joining a conversation.

"This isn't a real troubled youth hospital, is it?" Artemis asked.

"It's more of a place you live at and get help from," Oliver Queen said, knocking an arrow, when he released the arrow, it hit the target that hung eighty feet away. "Next week, we'll be doing volleyball." Robin grimaced.

"Volleyball?" Wally said as he almost ran into Oliver. "Man, come on! We lose every time and they usually only have three people on their team!" Kaldur smirked at Wally's exclamation.

"Sorry, kid, it was girls' choice this week." Every boy including Conner who Artemis thought was the most athletic groaned.

"Come on! I bet you look cute!" Wally yelled through the door.

"It's not a matter of cute, it's a matter of dignity!" Artemis shouted back, she looked at the mirror, trying to pull the shorts lower.

"Come on! I want you on my team! and if we're all not there by ten then we don't get to choose our team!" Artemis glared at the door but walked out of it all the same.

"Why are you wearing long sleeves?"

"Reasons," he said, they started walking. "Don't worry about it, all that matters is that we're gonna win." She smiled a fake smile and nodded her head. "I'm serious! They may have skill, but we have numbers. And I'm faster than everyone here."
