Male Dragon's Challenge

I guys I just wanna say that it will be all Marcus view for this chapter and thank you for supporting me. Reading my book is giving me more confidence by  the day to write more, to try for the best.

Marcus P.O.V

Waking up is one of best things you can do in the morning, especially when your waking up to stare at the most beautiful sight in all the world. Just laying right next to me is my mate and fiance, with her scarlet hair covering her face as she continued to sleep. I watch her til she started to move this made me chuckle knowing she going to cuddle more.

By my chuckle she open one of her beautiful grassy green orbs. But she continued to ignore me and came even closer. All I did was kiss her cheek and waited for her to fully wake up, while playing with her fiery hair, which didn't take long due to a loud bang. I sighed knowing i had to rise for the day, this made Crystal groan and reach t pull me back to the bed with hand were ring sat on her finger.

It has been one whole month since I purpose to her the wedding estrangements are being finalize as we speak but there still people that want to piss me off. I took her hand and kiss the ring pulling her to me to kiss her lips too before head to bathroom to bathe.

After doing my morning routine, I left to bathe and walked into the closet to find Crystal there getting dressed. And being the best mate in the world I leaned onto the door frame and watched the show that is until she was struggling to zips the back up causing me to laugh. I know best mate ever. She quickly turned to to me with a rise eyebrow, hands on her waist while i try and control myself.

" Are you going to help me, or stay there at the door and watch me?" she ask clearly frustrated at the dress.

"I mean the second option is temping," 

"Take a picture, it last longer," she said with an unamused smile.

"Turn around and I'll zip it if you help me with my tie," I said as she nodded and turned.

After getting dress, we left the room and then went down to the kitchen, where Jade, John, James and Sapphire were waiting for us. After breakfast we went our separate directions where the girls and going to get fitted for their dresses where as the boy and me where heading to the throne room for a meeting with some nobles. 

Once we arrive at the throne room, the guards opened the door announcing our arrival. I quickly sighed wish for it to be over already, before walking up to the the throne taking a seat before starting the meeting. 

Thirty minutes into the meeting I realized the young Nobleman Peter Marshall was very very off and too quite. Called me paranoid but he always has something to say especially about Crystal. I sat there listen to the complaints as intensely as possible while trying to keep an eye on Peter. 

The meeting dragged on and on and I think James even started to fall asleep when a guard decide to announce that Crystal had arrive back safely, that made me smile. Also that made Peter finally decide that he should speak up.

"Are we really going to allow that witch to rule over us? Are we really going to sat back and say nothing? I though a king is for his people, and clearly the young King has lost his mind about marrying that witch. For all we know he could be bewitch by her," he said talking about my mate like if I'm not here.

"Nobleman Peter I suggest you stop right there, talking about my mate as such or I'm going to make you regret it and that is a promise," I said standing to prove my point but that didn't stop him.

"I refuse to bow down to a witch, your father would be ashamed of you if he was still alive. Witch can not be trusted and that way the werewolf prince rejected the bitches mother all those years ago. Yet that didn't stop her from going with his brother now did it," Peter said this making me and another growl sound the throne room.

By the door stood my lovely mate Crystal who was fighting back tears in her eyes and Diamond who is itching to get out. But as she was about to open her mouth I shout loud enough for the castle to hear.

"If that is how you feel Peter let you and I have a nice chat outside stall we. Everyone else can follow if they soul desire," I said as I stand and started walking to the door with everyone following in pursuit.

As we got outside I slowly took off suit and gave it to Crystal to hold right after give her a kiss, and while folding my sleeves I rise my hand beckon Peter forward with a finger. Once he came forward I stand complete still and the rage I was feeling finally can show it.

"Since you have a problem so much why don't you fight me for the throne Peter. If You win you get everything that is mine but if I win not other say about my marriage from anyone. Since you or for the people more than me Pete I'll make you the example to those who dare to talk bad about my mate. Though I will let you chose though Dragon forms or Human and chose wisely this a fight to the death," I said and the fear in his eyes is just what my dragon was wishing for but there's no backing out now.

"Dragon Form," he chose and I nodded for him to change.

Once we change I realize that he allowed his dragon side to take over, so I did the same.

Sebastian's P.O.V

As soon as I took control the bastard rush forward trying to aim for my neck not that would of work but I'm not playing. Not only did he disrespect me, he ill talked my mates name and trashed talk a respected woman of her time. That is unforgivable, and I was making sure that he is an example. 

As he tried to fly to my left and grab me I dodge easily and grab his neck biting down hard. this caused him to roar in pain but I didn't care, I released him and flew a distance and roar. Once he was back on his feet he tried to breathe fire but he needed to intake air in his lungs, but I didn't give him that chance.

Once he started to intake air I change my eye color to a lighter blue that stands for ice and send a freeze ball down his throat. At this his body started to freeze from the inside out. And in making sure he was gone I used my tail to destroy the ice statue. After a big roar I gave back Marcus control knowing I prove a good point today.

Never mess with my 'MATE'.

Marcus P.O.V

After I regained control, I looked towards the crowd and made sure my voice boomed the entire grounds, making sure every living dragon heard me.

"Let him be the example to those who wants to disrespect my Family, my Friends and my mate this was the last straw no more mister nice guy. From now on IF, I hear anyone has down graded my mate I give her full permission to do as she sees fit," I said and watch as they bowed then rushed away while Crystal came to me and gave me a well deserve hug.

I led us back into the castle, to grab some lunch, then led the way back to our room where James, John, Jade and Sapphire stood waiting for. Once we were in the room me and Crystal change clothes and joined our friend, no FAMILY on the floor with snack and drink to watch a movie we all head to bed.

When they left, I picked up a sleeping Crystal off the floor placing her on the bed, before climbing in after her. Once I was sure she was cuddled in my arms, I drifted off to a peaceful sleep.

There, I never though I would finish this chapter I brain stormed more four different times just to write that fight scene and still didn't know how to end it.

Well that is done and I will see if I can write in another before my EXAMS start, YEAH. (Please note the sarcasm)
