Sorry (Jungwoo X Reader)

Finals

      "Lucas, I have to go to school, so i'll be home later, can you lock the door after I leave?" you said shaking Lucas as he slept. 

"Yeah, you're not taking the key?" Lucas asked tiredly.

"No, you're gonna be here so I might as well not, if you're not though, just text me" you said as you went into the kitchen to fill Toad's bowls. The dog was still asleep as you left the apartment. You went into the elevator. You were about to press the button, when you saw Jungwoo run out of his apartment to get into the elevator. 

"Thank you for waiting" he said as he regained his breath. 

"It's fine" you said as you pressed the lobby level. The elevator went down smoothly, and the two of you stepped out. 

"Are you excited?" Jungwoo asked, referring to the finals. 

"Yeah I guess, i'm mostly excited for the Music one, but like everything else, i'm not excited for" you said. 

"I'll sit next to you and help you" Jungwoo said. You smiled.

"Thank you" you said quietly. He put his arm around your shoulder, and the two of you walked like that the remainder of the way to school.  

"Good morning Ms.Xing, Mr.Kim" your Music professor said as she got out of her car. The two of you were quite embarrassed that she saw you two like that. But you said good morning, and continued to walk inside. 

"Let's eat" Jungwoo said as he rubbed your shoulder.

"Alright, i'm getting oatmeal" you said. 

"That's epic" he said. The two of you laughed slightly, and went to get your food. You sat across from Jungwoo at a table, and the two of you began to eat.

"I reserved the recording studio for us first, you probably didn't want to make a song with me and the others, but I thought it would be cool to do a song together." Jungwoo said quietly.

"Oh it's okay, i'm fine with it" you replied. He smiled as he ate a spoonful of his yogurt. 

"Wait were the groups organized by her?" you asked.

"Uh no, she just picked random leaders, and emailed us directly. I picked you first because I wanted you on my group" Jungwoo said.

"I think i'm a good asset to the team" you laughed.

"Yeah me too, plus Jaehyun, Taeyong, and Liam are all quite good" Jungwoo responded. 

"Oh, so we're recording first right?" you asked.

"Yeah, Jaehyun and Taeyong wrote the lyrics already, I tricked you into making the song for us, but Liam also added in parts of it" Jungwoo confessed.

"WHAT? I WAS LITERALLY SO TIRED WHEN YOU SENT THAT MESSAGE THE OTHER DAY" you practically yelled. 

"SHhhh!!! Calm down!" Jungwoo said. You stopped yelling, and laughed at yourself. "Oh, do you know how low your voice can go?" Jungwoo asked.

"Uh, yeah like this low" you said going into a really low pitch. 

"Perfect" Jungwoo said. You were confused.

"Why?" you asked.

"You know that one kid who always sits in the middle of the class? With the extremely low voice?" Jungwoo asked forgetting his name.

"Felix?" you asked. 

"Yeah him, with the song you created, I thought a low voice like his would be cool for the first verse, but since I don't talk to him, I thought it would be awkward to just add him into the group" Jungwoo said.

"Ah I see" you said. 

"So we divided the lyrics, you'll be singing these parts, and the  first verse, in like a really low pitch, like you did earlier" Jungwoo explained. You nodded, while finishing your food. You looked over the lyrics, and then gave the paper back to Jungwoo.

"Sounds good" you said. He smiled, then looked at his phone.

"Let's go to the class, everyone's there already, so we can just ask the teacher if we can start recording early" Jungwoo said. You nodded, and grabbed your bowl. You gently placed it in the dirty dishes tray, and followed Jungwoo. 

"Good morning guys, is she inside?" Jungwoo asked referring to the teacher.

"Yeah, but none of us went inside" Jaehyun answered.

"Oh okay, let's go in" Jungwoo said. He opened the doors, and the four of you walked in single file. 

"Good morning students, I get the feeling that you guys want to start recording now?" The professor asked with a sly expression.

"Uh yeah actually" Jungwoo answered. 

"Well, okay, that sounds fine! You can go ahead and go to the recording studio now, just make sure to come right back when your done, so I don't have groups waiting long." she said as she excused you. The four of you made your way to the recording studio.

"I think Y/n should go first" Liam said. Everyone else agreed.

"Okay sure" you said. Jungwoo followed you into the recording area.

"They can't hear me right?" you asked nervously as he set up mic equipment. 

"No, i'll have the headphones on, so they can't hear you, and I won't try to be rude if you make a mistake" Jungwoo said. You fidgeted with your hands as he gave you the headphones, and paper with your parts of the lyrics. 

(AN_ you're going to rap Felix's parts from Victory song (The song above), Liam will sing/rap Woojin & Hyunjin's parts. Jungwoo has Seungmin, and I.N, Jaehyun has Lee know, and Chan. And Taeyong has Changbin, and Han's parts)

"So they really won't hear me?" you asked one more time before he left the recording booth. He stood in the doorway and smiled. 

"No, i'll make sure of it too" he said smiling. There was something about his smile that calmed you down. You enjoyed seeing him smile. You placed the headphones on, and waited for the audio to start. You watched as Jungwoo put on his headphones, and played the music. He signaled for you to start, so you said your first line. He held his hand out in a stopping motion, signaling for you to stop until the next verse. He put his hand back into a fist, letting you know to start rapping, and you began to read the lyrics in a low voice, just like he had said. You stopped, then he sped up the audio, until your last few parts were done. Then he motioned for you to exit the booth. 

"Did I do good?" you asked, hoping you wouldn't have to redo anything. 

"Yeah you did really fucking good" Jungwoo said laughing. "I'm going next, Jaehyun will take care of audios from here, so you can sit back, or like drink water, or something, i'll be out in a bit" Jungwoo said as he walked into the recording booth.

"I'll wait for you" you said. He nodded, and turned back around. Smiling from ear to ear.
