In the apartment
Tanaja's POV
Ari and I chose the room we wanted they were both big ass rooms they both had their own full bathroom and then there was another bathroom in the hallway there was a guest room then the dining room and kitchen and then our living room.
Our beds weren't coming until two days from now but we had two couches that I and my bestie picked out they were a burgundy color and it was soft. So we would each sleep on one until I beds come.
"I want to paint my room pink or teal bitch do you wanna paint your room because I'm about to head to Walmart to get the paint made the shade that I want you can come if you want to and you can ride with me or you can take your car," I said in excitement. "Of course I wanna paint the room that's not even a question to ask me duh but I wanna do purple or yellow and I'll ride with you," she said. My bestie always got a smart mouth but I still love her smart mouth ass anyway.
We walked outside and there were 2 fine ass niggas unpacking their stuff off the U-haul they were living in the same apartment complex as ours.
I looked over at them and the tall dark skinned one smiled at me he had dimples and he had waves he had both ears pierced and a nose ring. The light skin boy also had waves but he had one stud and he was also tall.
"Ari look at those fine ass niggas bitch," I said "oh shit they coming over here," she said they both walked over here the light skin boy was checking ari out "wassup ladies my name is Delon and this my homeboy Carlos, " the light skin boy said."sup y'all" Carlos said. "Y'all go to New York University?"Carlos asked. " yeah we're freshmen let me introduce myself my name is Tanaja and this is my best friend Ari" I said "hi y'all" she said. "We gotta go y'all see y'all around maybe," I said with a smile. Carlos looked at me and he winked in a playful way and Delon looked at ari one more time and followed Carlos.
Me and Ari got in my car and I pulled out of the parking spot Delon and Carlos were waving us goodbye and we did the same. I pulled up at Walmart and we got out the car I grabbed my wallet and we walked to the aisle that had the paint. And Ari already saw the color that she liked she chose the yellow one I ended up going with a mint color.
"While we're here we should get our bed covers and then we can go to target and get some decorations and stuff," I said "bet," my bestie said and we just started busting out laughing. I found this bed cover I was wanted it had the same green I was gonna paint my walls with and it has pink and purple the sheets were just plain mint. Ari got a yellow and black cover it was like zebra print but instead of white it was yellow and the sheets were just plain yellow. We grabbed pillows and I found this mint fluffy rug that I liked so I put it in the cart and ari found a yellow fluffy rug. Me and ari both had the same taste in things.
We checked out in self check out and we put the stuff in the trunk target. was just right around the corner from here. I parked in the Target parking lot we got out and went inside. I was looking around and I found some cute decorative pillows that could go on my bed and I picked up some for Ari. I grabbed 2 long floor mirrors and I grabbed matching curtains for my room. Ari grabbed matching curtains for her room and she also got a lava lamp and I got one too." I think we got everything we need but I kinda want some new outfits before we start school" I said "yeah me too we should go to the mall in a few days though but I want to get some sandals today and maybe like two outfits from here" ari said.
We walked around the store until we found the woman clothing and I found these skinny jeans that had holes in them they were denim and cute I put them in the cart and kept looking. Ari got the same jeans as me duh me and her always be matching. I found a black long sleeved v neck crop top that I liked so u put it in the cart and ari got the pink one. I grabbed another pair of skinny jeans and a pair of black leggings and I grabbed a white short sleeved crop top and pink short sleeve t-shirt. Ari got a pair of skinny jeans and a short sleeve purple crop she also got black leggings and she got a white t-shirt. we went to the show section and i found these cream sandals the were soft and they had like a ruffle design and ari got black sandals with ruffles hanging off. We checked out and we went back to our apartment.
