My average upbringing resided in the quiet outskirts of Sydney. I had to move there from my tiny NYC apartment that my parents shared before I was born when I was 3 for my fathers job offer at a local Sydney university. Some of my earliest memories go back to our cute little australian house on pine road and with my neighbor Calum. Calum and I spent our years before school playing on our front lawn, usually playing house. Once school had started Calum and I formed a tight-nit group of friends with Luke, Ashton, and Michael. Michael and I were not as close because we often fought over the littlest things, such as when he held me up against my will and dyed several strands of my hair with a pink sharpie. One day in fourth grade Calum and Ash had been sick to their stomachs with the flu, so on the bus home it was me, Luke, and Michael. Luke was the first stop off, which led to an uncomfortable situation leaving just Michael and I. We both got off in silence, and started walking towards our houses which were both heading several streets down in the same direction. As we walk in silence, the ice-breaking sounds of an ice cream truck is heard. I smile and see a local math teacher, Deborah Rathnam, driving the truck. She pulls over, which results to Michael and I becoming more cautious. Out of nowhere a man is in sight. He had deep caramel eyes and skin, a jawline sharp enough to chop a watermelon in half, and hair as dark as the night. He leaps off of the rear of the ice cream truck, and yells, '' FOR OBAMA!!!". Within seconds a stink bomb is set off, and i nearly pass out. ''Im used to the smell, i do live with taylor caniff after all. take my hand.'' I nonchalantly accept his hand as he pulls me to safety. I know know that you can trust someone who is able to smell Taylor Caniff, and never trust somebody who accompanies deborah rathnam.
