*Luke’s POV*

So finally the waitress comes back with our drinks and then asks for our orders. Phoebe got waffles and so did I, but not because she did, I just really like waffles, and Harry got French toast.

It took maybe ten minutes of silence before we got our food. As we ate I decided I should at least ask her something, especially since Harry wouldn’t say a thing and only grinned at me. “So how’s the tour been?” I asked.

It was probably the least original question ever and I know she’s been asked it thousands of times but it was all I could think of.

“It’s been alright, nothing interesting has happened yet” she said before she took a sip from her drink, looking very uninterested in talking to me.

“What about y’alls tour?” she asked.

Y’all. How cute. But also infuriated me. She could’ve asked me specifically, but she asked both me and Harry.

“I’ve had an alright time too, I guess” I said as nonchalant as I could, trying to look just as uninterested as her… I don’t think it worked like I thought it would because she then asked me “So you haven’t gotten any ass yet?” and scoffed.

“Wow, you need to calm down, I’m sorry being forced to spend time with me is such a chore for you. This wasn’t even my idea but I’ll fucking apologize anyway, damn, sorry. And if it makes any difference, no, I haven’t gotten ass in a while” I blurted without even thinking.

She looked up at me and made direct eye contact, which gave me chills as I waited for what I assumed would be just as rude to fire back at me, but she just smiled instead.

“Do you want my eggs?” she asked me and my face got really hot.

WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN??

“Um, I… I don’t… is this a trick question?” I stammered. “No. Do you want my eggs? I don’t like em” she said again.

I knew she didn’t like eggs, I know a lot of simple facts about her, I idolizer her, adore her, but she’s so damn confusing and I really think I like it.

“Uh, yeah. I’ll eat them” I said and she passed her plate over.

Finally Harry began to speak again, chatting about something dumb, I really wasn’t listening, and then my phone started to vibrate. I didn’t want to check it and look rude, but if I did check it I’d look busy and important and I want to look cool.

I just decided after a while to look at it to see who was calling and it was Calum so I knew it had to be important, he never calls me.

“Hey, I don’t want to be rude or anything but can I take this? I think it might be important” I asked the two who were wrapped up in conversation as I pointed at my phone.
