Chapter 9:

Nico:

Leo's been on my mind all day. The hug keeps replaying over and over again and I constantly blush at the thought.

I rolled over in my bed and looked at the time, 9:15 A.M. I've already missed breakfast and a few activities. I decided to finally get up and take a shower.

I roam around the camp and pass the strawberry fields. The satyrs and nymphs chase each other around happily. I roll my eyes when I nymph changes into a tree, making a satyr develop splinters on his lips from trying to kiss her.

Eventually, I find myself at Bunker Nine, knocking on the door. Leo opens the door, covered in grease and sweat like usual. He smirks with his left hand in his pocket and his right hand on the door supporting his body frame which leaned up against it. I shyly smile and push my way past him.

Then I forced myself to do something I never thought I could muster up the courage to do.

I kissed him.

Before Leo could say anything, I grabbed his shirt and pinned him against the wall with my arm lightly over his throat.

He looks at me nervous while I glare daggers at him. Then my expression softens as I lean in to kiss him.
