Chapter 14

Leo:

I walked back to the beach with a smile on my face. I can hear Nico running close behind me. Everything in me wants to kiss him, but I know I can't because the others are around.

"You guys are going to pay for that little prank." I smirk at the others when I reach the beach again.

"Leo don't you s-see who's here?" Piper nervously says.

I notice that everyone is looking towards the exit of the camp in confusion. "Why is she here? I thought she..."

Nico then stood next to me,"What the Hades?"

Calypso walks over to me, her hair flying in the wind. Her perfect tan skin glistening in the baking sun above. She then hugs me and kisses my cheek. I stand frozen in confusion. "Leo, my love, it's great to see you again!"

"Get off of him!" Nico growled while glaring daggers at her.

"Why? I mean Leo obviously still loves me... Right?" She smiles widely at me. She stares lovingly into my eyes, but I know it's fake. I just can't seem to snap back to reality...

"I said get off of him!" Nico tackled Calypso and soon it was full out war.

Nico:

She did not. She did not think she could just play with Leo's heart, break up with him, and then come back like that. She deserved everything I did to her.

When Percy finally pulled me off of Calypso she had a black eye, a bruised up face, and I'm pretty sure her arm wasn't bent that way when she came here...

"Nico what the heck?! What's wrong with you?" Annabeth shouted while still being stunned by the scene.

"Well I sure wasn't about to let her hurt and play with Leo's heart like that!" My face was red with blush and full on anger.

"You can't just attack people like that! Calm down," Piper tried to use her charm speaking abilities on me, and I could sense it.

"Open your eyes people! She's going around the world breaking hearts! She's better off back on that island of hers. Alone!"

Calypso got up and stomped away, before exiting completely she turned towards Nico. "I swear on the River Styx I will have revenge upon you di Angelo! This. Isn't. Over." It came out as a loud hiss. She flipped her hair with her arm that wasn't bent and turned on her heels leaving with her nose pointed up.

"Bring it on b-"

"Nico can I talk to you... Separately," Leo's face seemed confused and heart broken and it hurt me to see him like that.

"Okay?"

But even as I left with Leo, Calypso's words hovered through my brain and stung in my chest. 'I swear on the River Styx I will have revenge on you di Angelo. Well that couldn't be good.
