Settling into Charles study tony got straight to the point “So prof wanna tell me what happened after I passed out” he didn't want to waltz around what had happened on his way here and he wanted to know why and who had decided to attack him, his daughter and happy he had a very good idea of who but why now after months had past.

“We don't exactly know what had happened but all we can say is we felt it,” Charles said for once Tony wished he could get quick and simple answers when did is life became a mystery novel, we don't know why but we'll figure it out dun duuun seriously he should start selling tickets maybe he'll earn back the money he had spent repairing the damage that the alien invasion or the Avengers had caused not that he needed it but with the way his life has been going its going to go from mystery novel to soap opera and the serious urge to bang his brains out was increasing daily.

“What do you mean felt it, ”Rhodey asked beating Tony to the punch.

“well before Mr. Hogan came speeding through the gates and up our driveway with a passed out tony in the back no less, there was this energy rush that went through the mansion almost like a gust of wind we didn't see it but we felt it, we thought nothing of it at first but then a few minutes later Mr. Hogan came rushing in and told us what had happened we realised what it was, so we went to take a look there were two cars completely destroyed by the way they rolled but other then that nothing” Charles explained, it didn't make sense to tony if Charles knew what it had been why not bring it up since the last visit Charles had stayed quiet.

It had puzzled Tony's mind that Charles hadn't asked about Tony's abilities or about the certain bun in the Oven, why keep quiet what had he to gain for keeping the little info to himself “What about the men that had driven the cars what did you do with them, ” Tony asked he wanted to know who the men were.

“There was nobody there the cars were empty, it took us a while to get there and with the time of your arrival they must have run off and there was no trace to where they went, ”Charles said, he shouldn't be surprised the bad guys almost always get away and that they would try again and succeed was not making tony feel any better it made it worse so much worse.

Letting out a frustrated sigh “On that sour note Charles, there is something else I want to discuss its quite complicated to say but my abilities  I don't know if it's just me or if it's going haywire but I'm finding it hard to control so I was hoping you would be able to help me, even if it meant that you needed to go inside my head again”( Much to Tony's detest).

“To tell you the truth tony I haven't been completely honest with you, the thing is I can't see inside your mind and to even attempt it would cause extreme pain" Charles explained the utter confusion on both of their faces speared him on“Tony you have an energy shield protecting your mind keeping out unwanted attention”.

Still not completely believing what he was hearing“But you were in my head before when that kid looked at my memories and when we arrived” Tony said if Charles couldn't read inside his head maybe he didn't know about his baby girl and maybe he would be able to play it off as only his powers as much as he didn't like lie-ing to the professor he is a wonderful person and that goes a long way in his book he didn't want any more people knowing about his pregnancy or his child.

“That is quite true but even when I was able to the mass amount of clutter that flowed from your mind was too much for me to grasp, other than finding you have an Advanced Enchanted Technokinesis based abilities I was unable to see or as much as understanding anything,” Charles said glancing back and forth Rhodey and tony

“So it could just be my Abilities acting up,” Tony asked cautiously trying to curve around the subject seeing how much he could skid another direction.

“Yours no, not so much, your daughters, however, yes” Charles stated watching their reaction pointedly looking for any form of emotion that would cross their expressions.

{And scratch that}

Shaking his head tony chuckles softly almost a whisper “Of course you knew, why did you stay quiet about it” Tony asked he expected it he was confused about the why and how “ and if you can't go inside my mind how did you find out”.

“Mr. Rhodes thoughts is quite loud when he is worried and it wasn't my place if you wanted us to know you would have told us yourself” Charles explained.

Tony nodded gratefully at Charles as Rhodey rushed out a sorry, it wasn't his fault if the situation was reversed Tony would be worried to he knew pepper was worried too she didn't show much but Tony still catch the frown on her lip every time she turns to leave and after the whole Killian, Mandarin and A.I.M she had the right to be a little bit afraid, Tony had been able to stabilize the Extremis that pepper had running through her veins he wanted to take it way but it had already been a little too late, pepper and Extremis were now one and would likely kill her if he tried, pepper is one of the last people he wanted to lose.

“I am kind of wondering how had it happen if it's even possible,” Hank asks sitting in the chair opposite of his leaning forward his elbows resting on his knees.

“implantation of a womb in the lower part of my stomach” Tony said numbly he didn't want to explain it but he could understand the curiosity he just hated the feeling of being observed, “I don't know exactly how they did it so I'm sorry I can't explain more”.

“Tony, there is one thing you should know all though mutants have been tolerated everywhere around the world there not exactly well appreciated anywhere it would be best if we kept your and your daughter's mutation quiet” Charles explained the fact that his daughter wouldn't always have a peaceful and enjoying life broke his heart a little he wanted her to live a life he never could to be able to smell the roses without mass mob of paparazzi following her around but knowing that she was a stark it was going to happen anyway even if they did keep quiet.
