Of all the times it could have happened, not before, not after Tony pregnancy but now on the last month of his second trimester the Avenger gets a call Hawaii was being attacked by a God damn tentacle sea monster, Aliens, Robots he could handle but monster why, isn't it enough to sich mentally disturbed humans or deranged aliens from outer space on them now monsters next the boogyman was going to jump out the closet or sasquatch is going to come down the snowy mountains demanding rights and knowing activists these days they will go for it, ok maybe that's a little too far but who know these days.

So here Tony was putting on the suit much to Rhodey dismay but he understood pepper however was giving Tony an earful.

“Tony for god sakes your pregnant you can't do this you're putting the baby at risk if something goes wrong,” Pepper said angrily, he knew he shouldn't be doing this he didnt want to but if he didnt respond to the very first call since the rest of the avenger went roque there will be questions and very high up people demanding to know why iron man didnt show up to help protect Hawaii and there was no way he was going to reveal the truth about his daughter that was growing inside him.

“Pep do you think i want to do this, i dont but i have to” Tony tries and reason with pepper.

“you dont Have to do this Tony”

“I do pep but look all i will be doing is recon, watching and helping civilians so i won't be completely in the path of danger and if only when i see they need help ill lend them a hand but if only there in real trouble ok,” Tony said rubbing peppers shoulder in comfort as she gives in, having pepper worry about him always made him feel guilty and now having her worry about him and the baby made him feel even worse he didnt want to put his child in danger it the reason he was retiring but not responding may give them a bigger problem them the monster its self.

“Please be careful and i mean both of you,” Pepper says as they flew off towards Hawaii.

The city of Honolulu was a mess the monster wasn't overly big but as it moves its tentacles smashed against building luckily with not enough force to send the building down only to damage it but the falling debris made it dangerous for whoever stood below.

“What the hell is that thing” Rhodey commented with disgust as blob-like body squirmed through the streets destroying everything in its path.

Landing on a roof next to vision who was sent ahead of them “I dont know but let's see if we lure it back to the sea, if not we need to kill it without causing to much damage and casualties ill scan for any weak spots and relay any information i get to you” tony said firmly knowing what each has to do they set off.

Tony watched from above as both sets to work trying to lure it away from the city it wasn't going well as he wished it only stand to agitate it worse, tony send every info Friday gave him on the monster to vision and Rhodey while he helps civilians out of the way of distraction.

“Boss there is a group of people stuck inside a building on the western side of the monster” Friday informed Tony.

“On it,” Tony said after helping one group away from the trashing tentacles, he took to the air dodging the tentacles as they made a swipe at him, landing tony could see crashed and crushed pieces of cars and debris making his way toward the group who was stuck by an overturned truck blocking both the window and door, walking toward the truck tony grabbed one part of the end and started to pull the truck away.

“TONY WATCH OUT” screamed Rhodey in panic, startled by it tony looked up to see one of the monster's tentacles coming straight down on top of him before tony could raise a gauntlet to fire at the tentacle and jump out of the way a piece of sharp metal flew and sliced through the tentacle allowing it to fall to the side, dumbstruck tony turned to see where the metal flew from only for him to freeze as he spots Steve walking towards him.
