Underlined sentences or paragraphs are quotes from the book HP and The Philosopher Stone.
Previously:
She looked at her cousin in anger, but felt shame make its way to her heart and mind. Anger due to his words, and shame for her reaction. Looking around, Hermione saw as the tribe looked at her with wide and fearful eyes, making her bow her head.
Slowly she swam towards Ránnla. "I am sorry for what I did to one of your tribe members. I hope you can forgive my actions."
With that, Hermione bowed and turned away, quickly swimming away from their home, ignoring how they all parted to let her pass, ignoring the shouting that was soon left in a curtain of bubbles.
Now:
Reaching the shore, Hermione quickly got dry and dressed before quickly heading towards the castle, fighting to keep the tears at bay.
She didn't mean to lose control the way she did, she really didn't, but she had been at her limit all day and when that male accused her of lying, she snapped. Worst of all, she didn't realize what she was doing until she looked at the male as he sank to the lake's floor.
Never, not since she was younger, had she lost control of her powers.
She arrived at the entrance to the Gryffindor Common Room and quickly went in after giving the password.
The room was, thankfully, deserted. Most likely because it was dinner time, yet Hermione had no appetite after the events of the evening. She could only hope that it wasn't felt in the castle.
Sitting by the window, she looked out to the lake and the forest, feeling homesick and lonelier than before. She wish she could talk to Draco, but the only chances they had of talking to one another was when they were "studying" together and even then it didn't feel like enough time.
At that thought Hermione straighten and smiled, coming up with an idea to solve that little problem.
Heading towards a table, she ignores the arrival of the Gryffindors and starts to write a letter to her parents.
Dear Mom and Dad:
How are you? How are things going for you at home and the pod?
I'm doing fine. School is amazing and beautiful. Not just the castle, but the grounds as well! It makes me wish I could take pictures to show you guys what I mean. Guess you'll have to wait for the holidays so I can describe it all to you.
The classes are something completely different than what I was taught in the pod. We cover a lot of theory work in most classes before even trying to perform magic, exceptions being Transfiguration and Potions. Though I'm sad to say that I am a little disappointed with History of Magic, the professor being a ghost. Oh that isn't really the problem, the problem is that he drones on and on in such a monotone voice and all his classes are about the Goblin Wars and nothing else.
The lake is beautiful. It's so big and deep, there's so many wonders and hidden treasures to be found, especially potion ingredients! I've collected some and have them stored safely so they don't get damaged or go to waste.
Anyway, I was hoping you guys could send me two journals or even diaries, with as many pages as possible and black please? I'm working on a side project with a friend.
I'll tell you more later, it's late and I should be getting to bed soon.
Take care and I miss you.
Love,
Hermione
P.S. Could you also please send something for my hair? Its bushy and frizzy beyond belief!
