Chapter 12

Dianne's POV

After Amelia left me and Joe we kissing for about an hour before we just started to talk.

D-"Why are you and Amelia getting married"
J-"Because of her parents"
D-"No I know that bit but why do they want you to get married"
J-"Well her parents have sort of had an image of the guy they want her to marry since she was born and I fit that description and plus they knew my parents"
D-"Do your parents want you to get married to Amelia"
J-"My parents want me to be happy but I pretend to be happy with Amelia so they have no idea how I truly feel"
D-"Why have you never told them"
J-"Because there's never been a better option till now"
D-"What"
J-"Before my life was so sh*t and even though Amelia is horrible she was the best option but now I've met someone that makes me happy and makes me want to do my best and be alive. Dianne the moment I met you and talked to you I suddenly felt whole like you were the part of my life that was missing all these years well I guess what I'm trying to say is..."

Joe's POV

J-"I love you... I love you Dianne"

Tears started to roll down Dianne's face. She brought her hand up and covered her mouth. Tears continued to fall down her precious face. I walked towards her. I stood in front of her and she looked me in the eye. She removed her hand from her mouth and put her arms around my neck. I wiped her tears and our foreheads rested against each other.
