Today was the day that I met Dianne's family. We landed in America 1 hour ago. We spent the first 30 minutes going through the huge airport and all the security and the second 30 minutes driving to meet her family. It was 10:00am here, thankfully jet lag hadn't kicked in yet but it would sooner or later. I wonder what Dianne's family would think about me.
D-"You look nervous" J-"Well I'm meeting the most important person in my life's family so yeah I'm nervous" D-"Don't be, I mean Emmet might give you a hard time at first and Emily and Teal might seem a little judgmental or cold at first but they'll soon warm to you" J-"Great" D-"Well you've already got me on your side" J-"Well I'm already winning then aren't I" D-"You definitely are"
Dianne giggled. I knew her smile would get me through this, her family couldn't be that bad could they. They are probably lovely people who love Dianne very much so can get a little protective over her. We eventually got to the house.

J-"I love the house" D-"You don't have to say that" J-"No I'm being serious it's so charming and looks very cozy" D-"Come on let's get the bags before the herd come running" J-"Too late"
I pointed to Blake and Tee who were running towards Dianne. Teal, Emily and Emmett has also come out. As soon as Teal saw Dianne she also came running. Dianne lifted both Blake and Tee up and spun them round. When Teal reached her she placed Blake and Tee down and gave Teal the biggest hug. I could tell Dianne missed them all like crazy. I couldn't imagine living away from my family like this but after seeing Dianne reuniting with her family I might have to get used to it.
Teal-"We've missed you so much" D-"I've missed you guys too" Emily-"Come here"
Dianne ran up to Emily and gave her a huge hug Dianne had tears of happiness running down her cheeks and Emily had tears in her eyes.
Emmett-"Come here sis before Emily starts to cry"
Dianne ran up to Emmett to. I was too busy admiring Dianne and her love for her family that I didn't see the Tee and Blake running towards me. All of a sudden I felt two children wrapping their arms around my legs.
Tee-"You must be Joe" J-"Urmm, Yeah" Blake-"I like you already" Tee-"I know he seems nice"
Dianne's POV
Teal-"Girls leave Joe alone" D-"He'll be fine" Emmett-"You sure" D-"Yes and be nice" Emmett-"I always am" Emily-"Urm no you're not"
Emmett walked towards Joe. He better be nice.
