Chapter Three: Numbers

Naeun and I walked to school together as usual. Only, when we arrived at school, Jin was, well there at the school gates waiting for someone. "Eun-ha!" He yelled from the gates. I was too nervous and didn't want Naeun to find out so I hid my face in my hood. "Eun-ha," Naeun said softly "why's Jin calling you?" I slowly took off my hood and saw that Jin was there, standing in front of me. We looked at each other's eyes and Naeun,who was standing between us broke the silence "what going on between the two of you?" We ignored her "uh hello?" She said again "hi I'm here too,"
"Oh u-uh Naeun-ah, we figured out out we're neighbors? Uh-hehehe," I lied.
I walked into the building to meet the same boy who told me to stay away from Soo Rae. This time he told me that Professor Shin was calling me in her office.
I opened the door to Professor Shin's office and found Soo Rae sitting on Jin's lap! His face looked disgusted and she didn't seem to care. Soo Rae saw me and glared at me. I was disgusted. Then the doors to Prof. Shin's office opened and Soo Rae quickly jumped off and sat between me and Jin with her legs crossed. Professor called us in and Soo Rae purposly flicked her very high ponytail to my face to annoy me. The three of us took a seat in front of Professor and she started taking about what had happened in Physics class while the teacher was not there. Soo Rae showed her the mark Jin made on her wrist with a "sad" expression on her face and said it was me who had done it. Jin shifted the blame to himself but Professor didnt seem to believe. Prof. Shin gave me a punishment to clean the whole school garden while classes are on going so Jin will have to help me catch up to the subjects. Jin interupted him a said "I will clean with her," while he passed me a small alpaca smile. "I will clean with them" Soo Rae said out of the blue "No you will have to go to the clinic to check on your wrist then go to class," Professor said. "But I can help my best friend with cleaning," Soo Rae lied "But Professor wouldn't Soo Rae here like to go to the library and clean by herself? It would really help me since I'm a senior library helper," I said with a smile. The Professor agreed and smiled "well then it's setled, Jin and Eun-ha will clean the garden tomorrow together while Soo Rae cleans the library on her own today, now you may go. It's dismissal now,"  We all left the room and Prof. Shin led Soo Rae to the library while Jin and I were left alone together. Jin broke the silence between us and said "hey.. there's a problem with my phone.. could you help me fix it?" He passed a cute smile "Sure," I smiled "the problem is, it doesn't have your number," he replied

Is this really happening? Is he really asking for my number?

I hesitated for awhile but his handsome face took it all. I gave him my number, then I remembered that I had to meet Taehyung at the cafè.

When I got here, Taehyung was sitting on a table. I sat there when I got in. Taehyung looked up from the menu that he was reading. "Oh annyeong," he greeted me kindly. "Annyeong," I replied. The waiter came and asked what we wanted to order. I didn't know what I wanted so I took the same food as Taehyung. He took spaghetti. The waiter walked of into the kitchen. We then heard someone on another table shout "SOMEONE TOOK MAH SPAGHETTI!!"
Taehyung and I laughed. I saw his adorable boxy smile that reaveled his perfectly white teeth. "Noona, I need to tell you something.." he said "I like Naeun-noona," I was shook and didn't know what to say since I knew Naeun fancys Namjoon..
"Oh wow! Taehyung-ssi that's amazing!" I lied as I faked a smile.
"Thanks noona," he replied.
"It's getting late, I'll go first,"He paid for the food and got up from his seat and I followed him.
"I'll get you an uber," I offered
"Oh uh no thanks it's fine noona,"
"No you paid for the food already so I'll get you an uber," I smiled
"Ah e-hehe gumawuo," he bowed.
