Chapter Twelve: Event

I was silently reading a book, Purple Nights, alone in the school library when someone suddenly back hugged me. "Yah, where were you." He rested his chin on my head "I've spent my biology class looking for you"
"I was in here, my second favorite place in the whole school" I put the book back on its shelf. "What's up" I turned to him and he let go.
"So, there is this whole campus event after school in Busan where everyone in the university is asked to help set it up, and I'm in charge of the entertainment." Jin told me
"And I was wondering if you knew someone who could dance and sing with me." He added and took a book from the shelf behind him. His voice barely a whisper
"Yeah, I know." I said
"Really?!" He dumped the book on a book tray next to him.
"Yeah! I'll call him after class." He smiled widely at the words I spat out.
"Okieee see you!" Jin ran outside the library and disappeared into who knows where
"Please don't do that again" I told myself and walked to class.

Time Skip To The End Of The Day~
"Hi, um is this Kim Do Hyeon?" I held the phone up to my ear.
"Lee Eun Ha?" The man on the other end answered "ah yes it is,"
"So I was wondering if you're free in like, 2 hours?" I looked at my watch
"Yeah, why?"
"I was wondering if you could come to Seoul International University and ride with us to Busan?"
"Sure. What for?"
"We might need you here."
"Ok, I'll be there as soon as possible"
"Gumawo, see you." I ended the call.
"Jin-ah!" I ran to Jin who was currently buying drinks from the vending machine.
"Oh?" He turned to me
"I found someone who can come." I smiled
"Who?"
"Do Hyeon-ah." He looked confused at first then shock took over.
"Ah ok, did you tell him that the event is held in Busan? You know by the beach?" He asked opening a can of Coke and handing it to me
I nodded taking the can from his hands and sipping from it. He's on his way over.

Time Skip To An Hour Later~
"Lee Eun Ha!" I turned my head and saw Do Hyeon waving at me by the gates.
"Oh, Do Hyeon-ah!" I waved back and called him over.
"Jin, Do Hyeon, Do Hyeon, Jin" I introduced them to each other.
"So shall we drive to Busan?" Jin broke the silence between the three of us.
"Sure. Who's driving? 'Cus I don't mind." Do Hyeon smiled widely showing his perfectly white teeth that matched beautifully with his tux.

"Let's just take mine." The three of us walked to the drop off point and Jin walked to his car. Soon, he picked Do Hyeon and me up from the drop off and we drove to Busan.
"Guys?" Do Hyeon broke the awkward silence once again "can I call some friends over to join you?"
"Sure." I looked back at him since I was on the front seat.

He opened his phone and texted people.

Time Skip~
The event had started and I saw five other handsome males on stage with Do Hyeon.

밤새 전화하자 한날 고민하다 부지런하지 못한 날
좀 일어나라고 전화해준 너라 마지못해
통화하다 내가 live it up, live it up
벌써 time to pick it up, pick it up woo

시간 날..." they all sang as I sat beside Jin.
"Do you like it Jin?" I asked trying to be heard over the music and the sounds of people chatting, laughing, clapping and singing.
"Yeah,they're like Astro, it's just that-" I cut him off.
"Let's dance!" I tried pulling him from the chair but he wouldn't budge
"I'll dance later my leg hurts." He whined and pouted
"Fine." I crossed my arms and started walking over to the door to get some fresh air by the beach outside the hall that Jin had rented for the event. Just then, I saw a very familiar man standing by the girls at the buffet table.

A/N: hi! Second update of the week, I'm trying to do as much as I can because school started again for me 🙄 I know that this chapter is pretty short and boring but I'll make sure that it's longer next time :)
