Chapter Ten: Minseok

I recognized him the moment I saw him.. he was an old friend who I didn't talk to throughout these years..Kong Minseok..he was my friend ever since high school. He disappeared after we graduated and I hadn't seen him since. He and I met when I first moved into a new neighborhood. He threw small rocks at my bedroom window and cutely waved at me when I looked out. He was the first who asked me to the dance, he told me to make friends Naeun when he couldn't attend school so that I wouldn't be lonely when we was gone.

~flashback~
"This is Lee Eun Ha."
"Sup it's Minseok"
"Oh whats up?"
"I can't attend school today and someone like you can't be friends with anyone so find someone in class 4 named Park Na Eun. She's your friend while I'm gone. Bye"
"Wait what?-"
"He hung up!"

~flashback ended~

"Annyeonghasayeo," he greeted me. "Kong Minseok-imnida," I smiled back at him. "Annye-," Jin and Naeun came back with the food and drinks. "Eun-ha," Jin said singsongy.

Minseok Pov
"Annyeonghasayeo, Kong Minseok-imnida," I greeted her. "Annye-," a boy and a girl came up to the table holding food and drinks. "Eun-ha," the boy said as he put down the drinks.
Eun-ha..Lee Eun-ha?..

~flashback~

I threw small rocks at her window until she looked out, I gave her a cute smile which she returned. I asked her to the dance and she went with me.

I called her one day at home while she was at school since I was sick "I can't attend school today and someone like you can't be friends with anyone so find someone in class 4 named Park Na Eun. She's your friend while I'm gone bye." Yes, I cared about her. Alot. There was a guy who went by the name Kim Seokjin who had a crush on her since high school. Me being her best friend, tried to leave her with Jin so that they would get along; it never seemed to work. Though we never had any feelings for each other, she was still my best friend. Sadly, I moved to Japan after we graduated and I never saw her since. I left without saying goodbye.. no last words..I changed my number there and I guess she changed hers because I tried looking for her name and couldn't find it. Every afternoon, ever since I came back to Korea, I would go to the same place we went to often together. The park. We would sit there together eating ice cream on the swings. I would buy two ice creams one for me, one for Eun-ha. I would sit there 'till her ice cream melted. She was here all this time yet I never knew..I got into a relationship with another girl without knowing where my best friend is.

Eun-ha Pov
"Ah Jin, this is Kong Minseok," I introduced my maybe old friend to Jin. "Oh and Naeun, Minseok, Minseok, Naeun,"

Wait..are you really the Kong Minseok I knew?

Naeun and I paused and stared at each other for awhile before looking at Minseok. Minseok looked at us shocked and didn't say a thing. Jin was just there sucking his juice while looking at us not knowing what was going on. "Hey uh-guys?" Jin said waving his hands around to stop us from looking at each other any longer.

The bell rang which meant that our next lesson was to start. Naeun walked to her class, Minseok walked to his so Jin and I walked together. "Do you, for some reason, feel anything for Minseok?" Jin questioned me. "A-ani," I kept staring at the ground while walking and barely blinked. "Do you know him?" He asked again. "U-uh n-no," I had to lie because if I tell Jin now, my answer to his question will not make sense if I say yes but he thinks I like someone else I know longer than I know him. Class started and Jin moved his seat next to mine. I was relieved no body cared, and that Soo Rae was not in this class.
