Chapter Eighteen: Jungkook Part 1

Everyone was given a sheet with the song in it. Jin, and Somi had a part to sing together in the song.

It took them awhile to practice so Jungkook and I decide to go downstairs together.

"Noona," Jungkook said, breaking the silence
"Hm" I hummed in reponse
"Can I tell you something?"
I lead Jungkook to a table nearby and sat there "I'm all ears" I told him

"I..." he paused "I-I...." the looked down. "I..never mind...."
I was confusion because of what he said then turned my head over to the glass window by the door. I stood up and walked towards that window and looked at the café across the street. There sat couples dating and being sweet. I became envious, I have never tried anything like that. At least not literally with someone I actually loved.

Jin and Somi were given a break and we were called upstairs to record my part. I looked at Bang Shin Hyuk waiting for his instructions. He tapped the mic button "just read the lyric sheet" .

The man put a thumb up and pressed the record button. I started singing.
"산소가 없어 숨이 막혀와" (There's no oxegen I'm chocking) "뒤틀리고 베베 꼬여 얌전하던" (Twisted babe twisted) "심장이 나대요 막" (I have a heart, just) "의미 없는 문자에 up 되고 또 down 되고" (Up and down to meaningless characters)

Meanwhile~

I had finished my part of the recording and now it was everyone's part. We were all squeezed into the small room that had nothing but a mic. Together, we sang.

"Alright good job!!" The recording had finished. Bang Shin Hyuk had served us some coffee and treated us to dinner. We went to eat at Ossu Seiromuchi. Jin closed the whole place for us and called the other members to come.

We ordered The Palate. Everyone had their own, Except me and Jungkook; we shares because we were both full. Jin was eyeing Jungkook's hands. Maybe because I wore that thing. I could feel the heat between them.

Jungkook's Pov
I locked eyes with Jin hyung and decided to tease him. I pretended to stretch and put my arm over her. I smirked at Jin hyung and he was pissed as heck.

Eun ha's Pov
I was eating the noodles Jungkook and I shared and in the middle of that, I didn't realize that we were already eating the same noodle strand.

"Shit guys look!" Yoongi said
"Ah!!" Jimin yelled
"Damn Jungkook you stole hyung's girl you gettin killed!!" The members and Somi gasped when Jin walked back to the table.
Eun ha and Jungkook didn't realize they were already about to kiss. Jin took a butter knife and used it to cut the noodle.

"My noodle!" I whined.
"My jobs done" Jin wiped his hands and waddled off to the kitchen like nothing happened.

The members and Jin heard the voices outside.
"Awww, It's closed...." I turned my head and saw Naeun with Hana standing by the door.

I stood up and ran to the doors and opened them. "Naeun! Hana!"
I squealed. We hugged tight as if we haven't seen each other. 

Naeun ordered her food but Hana was glad to share with Hoseok.

Bang Shin Hyuk left early because he had a meeting to attend. So all of us decided to go to the grand plaza. Jin needed to go to the restroom so we waited downstairs.

Everyone else had someone to go with: Jungkook, Jimin, and Taehyung; Hana and Hoseok; Yoongi, Namjoon, and Naeun. Well, technically, Yoongi wasn't really with them he was kinda just..third wheeling along with Somi.

The elevator bell rang, I turned my head and saw-

"Eun ha!" Jungkook called her.
Eun ha didn't move an inch. The young Maknae saw and felt bad but the rest couldn't see what was going on.
"Ha! You got ignored!" Jimin teased

There was an announcement on the speakers.
"Joeun achiminida, joeunun Bae Miyoung, there is an 8 year old child reported missing named Jeon Sowon. She is wearing a yellow cardigan, and black and white striped shirt inside. She has short black hair, and she is wearing a black skirt."

I stood next to Jungkook still wondering why and how that kid got missing, when I suddenly heard him whisper. "Jeon Sowon.." then he gasped. "She's..." we made eye contact "she's my sister.."

I dragged him away from the rest to go look for her.
We stopped at an isle and saw her, studying the books placed on the shelves. "Sowon-ah!" Jungkook ran to her. "Oppa?" She saw Jungkook who was currently jogging towards her.

"Sowon-ah who brought you here?" He asked in a worried state.
"Tho Yeon eonnie." She said calmly. "Aish that girl" I heard Kook murmur under his breath.
'So Yeon? Oh yeah, his stepsister.'

"Sowon, when did you guys get here?" Jungkook was still worried. This Maknae, seriously can't be chill.

"We got here just now. Tho Yeon unnie went to the bathroom so I waited outside." She said "Then I got bored and wandered off to the book isle"

Jungkook and I helped her stand up and held her hands since she was only 4.

"There you are!" We heard someone say from behind us as we walked.

We turned around and saw Yoongi, he was standing tall and confident.

"Awww, whose this little girl?"

That's the first time I saw Yoongi squish a little kid's face without being told to and actually enjoying it.

"Who's a cute little girl? Oh yesh you are yesh your are" he said like how an adult would talk to a baby.

Jungkook and I watched as Sowon grew annoyed.

"Who's a cwute wittwe g-"

"I'm 9 years old" she lied, just to stop him.

Yoongi's smile faded into an embarassed expression.

"Why the fck didn't you two tell me?" He stood and acted like he didn't just talk to 4 year old kid who acts like a grown up as if they were an infant.

"Don't say bad words hyung! You're a bad influence!" Jungkook said

"Fuck! Hehehehe" Sowon giggled.

"Aw nah!! Mom and dad are gonna kill me!"
