Incoming Call from Jade

What did you do to my fiancée?

I love how you just assume I did something. But I actually don't know what's wrong with her.

How much has she drank?

A lot. Like she's super drunk and I don't know what happened. She just started crying and she won't stop.

Yeah, Liz. She's on the phone. Do you wanna talk to her? Ok, here. I'm handing you over to Lizzie.

Liz? Baby, what's wrong?

I don't know. I just miss you.

Babe, I saw you three hours ago.

I know, but I miss you.

Do you want me to come get you? I've barely drank so I can drive.

Lizzie, tell me yes or no.

Yeah.

Ok, I'll be there soon, baby.

Lizzie practically fell into Scarlett's arms as she came out of the bar, tears still falling as she wrapped her arms tightly after the shorter woman.

"Babe, you're fine." Scarlett whispered into her ear as she continued to cry into her neck. "Let's go home and get you in bed."

Lizzie just nodded as a Scarlett wrapped and arm around her waist in an attempt to keep her stable until they got to the car.

Once the two of them were home, changed into pajamas, Scarlett got Lizzie in bed.

"Babe, what's really wrong?" Scarlett asked, the younger woman avoiding her gaze, "And I know it's not because you missed me, otherwise you would've stopped crying by now."

Lizzie hated that certain things still affected her so long after what happened, but she couldn't keep it from Scarlett and she didn't want to. She just didn't want her friends to know why, so she'd just made it seem like she missed her fiancée.

"Baby, just talk to me." Scarlett pleaded, her hand gently grabbing Lizzie's and giving it a gentle squeeze.

"I thought that I was passed everything with Boyd, I thought I could finally feel normal and then all of that was ruined tonight."

"Liz-"

"It was nothing to everyone else, but this guy kept trying to hit on me and he kept grabbing onto me. And it felt like it was happening all over again and I didn't want To tell Jade."

"It's ok, baby. You're never gonna forget what happened to you, no matter how much you want to. It's ok to feel this way. You have me, ok? And I'm not going anywhere."

Lizzie cried harder as Scarlett pulled her into her arms, hugging her tightly.
