Hagakure looked back and forth between fierce red eyes and narrowed golden ones. Nobody spoke. Hell, it seemed like nobody breathed.

"Mina, don't," Kirishima said, in an almost stern voice. "You heard Iida! We stay here."

"Well, Iida isn't here, and he forgot all about Kaminari! I'm not going to just sit here!" She exclaimed.

Kirishima sighed. "You're right. Iida isn't here. But Ojiro is, and he's in charge, so let's hear what he has to say."

Ojiro tensed when all eyes turned to him. He glanced at Mina, who looked at him with expectant eyes- one hand already tight on the doorknob. He sighed. He took five seconds more to carefully formulate his impending words, when-

"I'm going." Mina stated flatly. She flung the door wide and sprinted away, most likely to her own room to get her hero costume.

"Damnit!" Kirishima muttered getting up to go after her.

Ojiro lunged and slammed the door shut, blocking it with his tail. Kirishima leveled him with a glare. "Ojiro, let me through."

"Sorry," He sighed. "I can't do that. I was too slow to act with Mina, but I won't make that mistake again. Under Iida's orders, no other will leave this room. We just have to hope that she handles herself carefully."

To say that Mina was in a rush was an understatement. She fumbled around her room in the dark, feeling for and pulling open the drawer with her hero costume folded neatly inside. She pulled the bodysuit on quickly, slipped her arms into the sleeveless cropped tan waist coat, shoved her feet into her boots and grabbed her mask as she began to run out into the hall.

She ran her hand along the wall until she touched a cold, smooth railing. She ran up the stairs just beside it, two floors. She ran to the far end of the hall, hands outstretched to feel for the wall. She smacked into it. She turned to her right and felt for a door, but found nothing. She stumbled through the doorway- forcing her eyes to adjust in the setting.

She squinted around the faintly moonlit room. A breeze blew by, raising the thin hairs on her arms and neck.

"A breeze..? The air conditioning is-" Mina cut herself off, eyes widening at what she recognized to be an open window. She moved over to it, planting her hands on the windowsill and sticking her head out of it. She looked around, her only aid a faint, bobbing light moving along the path.

Her eyes widened, and she squinted at the light. A... A person..? Against her better judgement, or lack thereof, she climbed onto the windowsill, and began to slide down the side of the building. She jumped when she was about five feet from the ground, tucking and rolling to a safe landing.

She usually would've celebrated how completely epic that move was, but her friend's life may be on the line. She took slow, planned steps- having snuck out of the dorm often enough to know which parts of the ground were muddy and which would be strewn with twigs.

She made it safely to the dirt path, and scanned the tree line, her hands held out besides her. She began to jog, but kept low to the ground. She followed that light coming to halt when it seemed to flicker out. She raised her hands when she caught muffled whispers.

Then, a slightly chilled hand covered her mouth. Her first instinct was to scream, which the hand prevented. Her second was to burn the stranger with her quirk, and she would have- had they not whispered into her ear. "Shh, it's just me." She recognized the voice as Todoroki.

She relaxed and he released his hold on her, giving her an apologetic stare. Across the path, Momo peeked our from behind a tree. Then, she scampered across the path to join them.

"Where is everybody?" Mina asked.

Momo pointed towards a cluster of trees. "We found Tsuyu a bit battered up out here. She's with Uraraka, who's watching over her. The rest of the situation is... bad." She summed up.

They crept along the tree line until they came to a clearing. There were five stakes tied in the middle. Iida was tied to one, and was currently being interrogated by a strange guy with a full-bodysuit on.

Mina accounted for the fact that he was most likely a part of the league. Tokoyami was also bound to a stake, near a man whose right hand was entirely wraithed by bright blue fire. He was definitely with the league. Dabi, was it not?

Deku was tied to yet another stake, a bit near the tree line, and appeared unconscious. He was in the villain's line of sight, but also in a good place if he managed to escape and scamper off. The last two stakes were far off to the right. The first of the two was barren, and had a shredded material from Tsuyu's hair ribbon on it. The other one was empty.

"Kyoka?" Mina asked.

Momo pointed up towards the top of trees. Mina squinted in that direction, and found none other than Mr. Compress. Even from here, Mina could see the small marbles he toyed with between his fingers.

"Kaminari?" She asked.

Momo hesitated, and she looked to Todoroki. Todoroki pointed to a shadowy area just besides Tokoyami. Tokoyami struggled, Dark Shadow growing as it attempted to free itself. Electricity audibly crackled and a bright flash emitted from the spot- revealing Kaminari as he used his quirk to keep Dark Shadow at bay.

"What the hell is this?" Mina asked, whispering furiously.
