Mina bit her lip in frustration. What Yaoyorozu has said was a vast understatement. This situation was terrible! How did the villains even get onto the campus in the first place? The dorms were meant to be so that the students would be safer- but clearly that wasn't working out. Whatever- she shook her head and dismissed her thoughts. They needed a plan.
"Midoriya is the easiest to get to," Todoroki spoke softly, as if he'd read Mina's mind. "The only problem is that he's still unconscious- Dabi hit him really hard over the head."
Yaoyorozu squinted when she thought she caught movement. His finger twitched. She felt a big smile spread across her face. "Midoriya's conscious- he's just playing dead."
Mina and Todoroki both turned and watched with baited breath, when that same finger twitched again. "We still need a plan," Todoroki said.
"I've got one." A new voice added. All three heroes turned, their hands raised and at the ready, directed in the newcomer's direction. Then, Yaoyorozu dropped her hand.
"Ochaco!" Yaoyorozu whispered. She hugged both girls tight.
"The plan?" Todoroki prompted.
"Right!" Uraraka said. "Okay, I'll use my quirk on both Mina and myself- and we can float ourselves carefully, tree-by-tree, all the way to Deku. Then, she can use her acid to burn through his bonds and set him free. I'll use my quirk on him as well, so he'll never have to touch the ground. Everyone's focused on Iida and Tokoyami, so we should be able to sneak away with him."
Yaoyorozu nodded. "That's perfect! So after that, we need somebody to free Tokoyami. He's the second easiest to get to."
"Okay, but how do we do that without alerting the villains? We can't let them take Jirou! And we still have no eyes on Bakugo." Mina worried.
"Bakugo's smart enough not to charge into this kind of situation. Wherever he is... I'm sure he's planning something." Todoroki stated. "It's time for us to get to work."
They all nodded with determined faces. Uraraka closed her eyes and tapped Mina's shoulder, then pressed her hands together as they began to float. Todoroki guided them each to a tree. They clung to the trunk.
Uraraka pushed off, wrapping herself like a koala around the trunk of the tree she landed on. Mina jumped after her, and Uraraka helped her land soundlessly. They continued the cycle around the edge of the clearing, until they were right by Deku.
Uraraka waited until Dabi looked up at the sky, seemingly bored, and wasn't quite facing them. She reached out and touched Deku's shoulder, the pads of her fingers glowing pink. Deku stiffened slightly when he felt his body go weightless, then relaxed. Mina reaches out now, placing her hands on the rope that bound his wrists. She burned through them easily, and Uraraka pulled Deku into the woods with them.
They floated their way back to Momo and Todoroki, who guided them to the floor gently before Uraraka released her quirk. Deku rubbed his wrists which were reddened and a bit raw. "Thanks, you two. Momo. Todoroki." He nodded to the other two. "How's Tsu?"
"I dropped her back off at Kaminari's dorm, and shut the window. She's safe." Uraraka responded. "Is that... really Kaminari?"
Deku shook his head. "I... I don't know. He hasn't said a word since he showed up after Dabi and Twice captured us. They've been using him only to take Dark Shadow."
"Any word on Bakugo?" Mina asked.
"The warp-quirk villain, Kurogiri was here. He went chasing after him and I haven't seen him since."
