If I were a hero for a day I would... Save the forest! No, too much work. Stop war! How would I do that? Remove pollution! Release mistreated animals! Help injured or sick people! So many, no, too many ideas! What would I do if I was a hero for a day? What could I do? Why a day, why not a week? For only one day to be a hero is hard. What would I do? Where would I go? I could time-travel back to the 18th century to get one of those fancy dresses. Then what? I could remove money, raise equality! But that's a big job. I would start in schools, workplaces, but how long would that take? If I still had time I could help the sick! THen the injured! I could put a smile on everyone's face!
But would I have powers? I could fly around the world! I could be invisible! What else could I do? Would I be like Thor with his mighty hammer? Would I be like The Hulk or Spider-Man, formed by radiation? Or would I be me, a normal person with big ideas, making a difference in the world? Will I come to power to be able to make big changes? Or would I stay as I am now, a 12 year old girl, just doing what's right? Could I be more? Would I like to be more?
If i was a hero for a day... That is a hard question. So what is the answer? My answer is I don't know. When or if it happens, then I will decide. Until then I will do the right thing and try to make a much needed difference in our world.
