CH#5 My Enemy's Enemy Is My Friend

All the property can be mine?

"But how?" I asked Mr Edward.

"If AK-Company can be yours," he said with a smirk.

"What? I don't understand. How is the property and Company related? And how I'll be able to get the company?" I was totally clueless.

"Here is the thing," He showed me some papers.

"According to this will everything belongs to you but the problem is this is the will before Rose entered his life. So, After she married your father, your father changed his will and wrote all his property and Company to her name," He explained.

"So?"

"But there a condition in both wills that can change the whole game," He had a devilish smile again.

"And what, Exactly is that?"

"All the property belongs to the person who owns the Company."

"And how can I own the company?"

"By taking all the shareholders to your side. Company will be yours and all the property too. Then, you can kick out the rose from this house."

But I don't want to kick her out. That's not my plan.

"Okay and why on earth shareholders will take my side?" He was giving me headache.

"They will take your side if you give the company profit," He was happy to make me all confused and he continued again. "And you're the real inheritor of this company. People will support you, they don't like Rose already and I have some connections there."

"Mr. Edward can you please don't play 'Guess and get' game with me?" I'm annoyed now.

"I'll explain you, each and every thing. You just have to trust me. I want that rose out of this house too, like you." He said with venomous voice.

"I want all this property back, that's it. We'll discuss later what to do with rose," I said with annoyance .

"Property will be yours," He stretched his hand towards me.

"I believe you," I pressed hard and shake his hand, showing my determination.

We were interrupted by a knock on the door. And then entered my first enemy and he stood beside Mr Edward.

"Mr William is waiting for you," he told Mr Edward. I wanted to ask what was he doing here.

"I forgot to introduce you to my Son. This is Victor, my son and this is Mr Adam," He introduced that enemy of mine as his Son. What the hell! Did he know what his son was doing in her room or that was his plan too?

He took my hand with much force and I pressed back harder, clenching my teeth. And then after some fight of cold stares and bone crushing shake-hand, we fake smiled, at each other.

"Nice to meet you Mr Adam," He said with a smirk, same as his father's.

I wish I can say the same.

"Hmm," that's all I managed to say.

"I have met you before. When you came to visit your grandpa with your parents," he pulled my strings by mentioning my parents and about that visit.

"But I remember our meeting in the Rose's room at night," I shot back.

"What were you doing in her room!" Mr Edward seemed angry.

"Father__about__that," He stuttered scratching his head. So he feared his father.

"We'll talk about this later. First ask the household to prepare some refreshments for Mr. William," He ordered his son.

"Okay, I'll take my leave then," like that he vanished from the study room but not forgetting to gave me a angry stare.

"You have studied business management?" He asked me right after his son left the room.

"Yes," I started thinking about my university days with Rose. She also studied business management with me.

"Good then get ready. I'll introduce you to Mr William, the main person to our goal. Your Father had 60% shares of the company and Mr William has 30% and rest of the shares belong to small parties. Our first target is William. Let's go," He seemed very confident with what he was doing. And I was getting strange vibes.

I didn't know if I was doing the right thing. I never wanted this money. All I wanted was her Love and a peaceful life with her. But now I don't know what I want and where I'll go.

As soon as I entered the dining hall, I spotted a middle aged man sitting on the chair, beside him was my life, Rose. She was in a pink nighty on that goddess body but at least she had a gown on, unlike yesterday night. Still her curves were visible. I gasped. She sat very close to that middle aged man that I suppose was William.

"Hello! Mr William," Mr Edward greeted that person.

"No need to be formal, Edward. We are friends first," He greeted back with a smile and shifted his eyes on me and smirked. "So, this young man is Adam I guess."

"Yes, your guess is right Mr William," I took his hand in mine and he laughed out loud.

I tried not to look at her. I wanted to punish her for letting someone stay in her room. I lost my senses whenever I look at her and right now I didn't want any drama but I think she wanted it.

"William dear, do you know my Stepson? Why you're teasing him," Rose said with a playful smile.

Oh my God. What she has done to my Rose, my innocence Rose. And what's the drama about StepSon.

"Are you worried about me Stepmother?" If you want to play game, I'll play with you. She is taken by shock. She wasn't expecting I'll play back.

"Stepmother!"
