CH#6 Our Little Games

"Are you worried about me Stepmother?" If you want to play game, I'll play with you. She is taken by shock. She wasn't expecting I'll play back.

"Stepmother!"

"What!" She lost her cool for a moment.

"Stepmother!" I call again. " You didn't even greet me good morning," I ended our distance and kissed her on the cheek.

"What are you__doing?" She was shocked again.

"I'm greeting my Stepmom, Can't I? I snaked my arm around her waist, pulled her close to me, turning my face towards her. I grin.

"Well I should say, I'm overwhelmed by seeing the love between stepmom and stepson." Mr William raise a glass of wine towards us.

Clueless Rose gave a smile to Mr. William. "You should have your breakfast," She tried to break free from my grip on her waist.

I felt the softest and warmth of her body. I inhaled her scent and let her go. She took a seat next to me on her other side was Mr William, lost in his thoughts. Mr Edward took a seat too. They both were busy discussing business while I took a another chance to annoy Rose.

"I'm craving for your love," I leaned towards Rose and said loud enough to make all of them hear my words clearly. All the colours faded from her face.

"Ahem ahem," She choked on her glass of wine and coughed badly. All of their gazes shifted on me.

"Of course, motherly love that I have been missing for a year," I ran my hand up and down on her back, while she was coughing. "Are you okay stepmom?" I tried to look concerned.

May be you're really concerned.

"Yes_ahem. I'm fine," She tried to move my hand away from her body politely. She was trying to act normal in front of them. I could see, she was afraid, afraid of loosing her cover in front of the most important person of the company, Mr William.

"I think, you should visit company today. Your father really missed you when he was alive," Mr William offered.

"Of course, I'll visit my company."

"Your father's Will can't be opened till three months. After three months everything will belong to the real owner," Mr Edward said and only I could understand that He was telling me the time in which I had to get the company.

Three months. So, I had three months to get back all the things that were mine. I'll snatch them from Rose and make her regret. Make her regret her decision. I was played by her. She played me for two years. I did everything for her in that two years but she took me as a fool.

Now, I'll show her. I'm not the same Adam.

We had breakfast and Mr William left with Mr Edward. Only Rose and I was left the room. She was about to stand up when I blocked her way.

"I'll take all of this from you," She looked me into my eyes.

"I'm waiting," She smirked, pushed me away and vanished from the room. I was left alone.

Why I'm doing this? Why can't I forget what she did to me.

I was never a bad person. But today I felt  like it. I felt I did wrong but why? She is wrong. I'm not. She was making me go crazy. I went back to my room, get dressed into a fine suit, because Mr Edward was going to take me to the company. After getting my mind back on track I went to the Company.

The company's building was huge and magnificent. On the way to the office, everybody greeted Mr Edward and gave me the suspicious look.

"You wait here in your father's office. A meeting will start within 20 minutes then I'll introduce you to everyone." He stopped at the door an office.

I gave him a nod and entered the office. There was everything in that big room. At the front there was a a wall of glass from where you could see the whole city, close to that wall, was an easy chair and a big rectangular table with laptop and office accessories on it. Two chairs facing the table and comfortable leathers sofas on the left side of the room. On the right side there was a small fridge and a small pair of chair and a table, a door, may be to an attached bathroom and painting on the walls. I was about to sit on the sofa when I heard a giggle coming from the attached room.

"That was so good," Rose came out of the room, giggling like teenager. But that was not the problem the problem was the person who was coming out after her.

"But it's more good when you're__," He stopped when he noticed me. They both froze there for a moment.

"I wasn't expecting to meet you again, Mr victor," I clenched my teeth. Both of them were being shameless.

"When did you arrive Adam?" She tried to fix her dress that was up to her middle of the thighs, sleeveless with a V-neck, making her way towards the Main chair, stomping her heels.

"I think, I came on the bad time," I eyed the victor who left the office immediately.

"No, you're are right on time. We were done by then," She smiled shamelessly and sat on the Main chair with a loud thud, messaging her shoulders. "Ah, I'm tired."

"How low you'll fall, Rose," My heart ached.

"I'll fly high." She said proudly.

"Let's see how high you can fly."

"Time to meet the shareholders, Adam," Mr Edward entered the room.

Now is the time to show them the talents of Adam. Bring it on and I went with Mr Edward to the meeting hall.
