it's almost as if this was the fastest you've ever got up and sprinted off in your life. after hearing the voice sing out, at first you were a tad bit confused, but in less than a second u recognized the voice and ran as if your life depended on it. and correct, in less than 3 seconds you were out of breath by the doorway.
there, standing was the only real sun.
tears quickly filled your eyes as he just smiled brighter and opened his arms for you.
small sniffs escaped you, as you made your way into his embrace with small steps, holding back a sob that was threatening to escape.
"h-hobi~" you sobbed out as he closed his arms around you. you felt him rest his chin on your head as he drew circles on your back with his thumb.
"hi y/n~~~" he sang out, causing you to tighten the grip you had around him.
" asshole.." you said while hitting him on the back playfully, a smile clear on your face as the tears still followed down your cheeks and now onto hoseoks bright orange shirt.
"hey why am i the asshole?" he teased, pulling back slightly only to have his features softened, he brought his hand up to wipe away the tears with the pad of his thumb.
"you didn't say you were coming back from america.." you said with some sniffs here and there. " i would have met you at the airport but you apparently have been here already 3 days.?! i swear i'll kill you.." you whined and put your face back on his chest.
he only chucked at that, but the soft chuckle quickly dying as he saw somebody standing there, in the doorway.
