Chapter 3

"Well,well your majesty, it seems that the king knew what size your finger is" as William said so surprised.Edgard looked at his finger,confused of what he saw.

He thought that it is was big that it can only fit to an old man but it seems different to the other rings in fact,it didn't have a size number at the ring nor the box.While he was looking to the gorgeous design of the five rubies attached on the ring,it suddenly lit a red light moving fastly, crossing them then dissapeared.

His eyes began to wide open trying to find where it came from.He thought"Was it the chandelier? No...they can't move.What was that? ".While Edgard was staring at the ring,Queen Amilia was looking at him,jealous.

" Why did my husband left me no surprises at the future?so lucky of this heir jerk...not for long"she thought. She didn't really liked him for having his step husband's eyes,its because he doesn't like  considering her as his new mother which means she will lose everything that she inherit from this kingdom when he gets the crown.

She never thinks anything that threatens her instead ,while she still get to rule for 6 years,she'll surely get rid of him soon especially when he's away to England."Alright,since you'll get to England tomorrow morning,you'll need to have two bodyguards at your side no matter what at my private plane we'll never know what lurks behind you if you travel far from here"as she smile at him nicely.

Edgard stood up then takes the gift box"Excuse me but I will take my leave to get earlier to England".The queen replied"Breakfast dismissed"She stood up too then walked away tidying her crown .Edgard turned to the bodyguards that seemed to walk like soldiers and with their feet marching loudly.

"Isn't that illegal?"he thought.It is clear that they are bidybuliders they had wireless headphones on their ears with sunglasses.But what he feared the most was that it had military knives on their pockets.He looked at them with a death stare putting his hands on the back scanning them top to bottom.

"So...tell me what are your names?".The left bodyguard with brown hair replied "I'm Marcos Dela Cruz". Then the right one with the blond hair continued" And I'm Marshal Hansen".Edgard looked at them using his stare that frightened the left one."Greeting,I'm Edgard Victor Renaldi "Then he walked away.

The right bodyguard pressed his ear whispering" My queen,he seems attentive and hyperactive, I don't know how will we handle this one"."Are you kindergarteners!?You only have one job.When he sleeps,take the pill then put it on his 3rd wine when he drinks again, that'll be the time he gets tired  then  put a dagger on his stomach without the pilot knowing ,Am I clear!?".

"Y-Yes my queen we understand.Queen Amilia has planned a murder to kill Edgard before he gets to England .She recruited two military soldiers that she paid.So,that when the meeting of the royal thrones of the world come,they'll confirm her daughter,Guinevere to be the official heir of the throne.

They followed him to the plane carrying his luggage.When he finally sits,he opens his book that reveals a title"Arthur and the round table".He suddenly stopped reading when out of a sudden his bodyguard,Marshal,gave him a glass and then poured him a wine.

"Drink,your highness"He said.Kai looks at the wine then shoves it away."We are at a plane I don't drink if a plane hasn't flew yet,if you want to have a drink then have some,hmm?".They nodded their head and sat on the back of his seat.The plane started to fly and it didn't seemed to work.Kai kept on reading and reading on his book.

He never stopped but he did sleep a little.He never opened his mouth when he sleeps and when someone touched him even a little slight of feather can wake him,with his eyes opened.So they waited for him to drink the wine but it didn't really worked out si easy.The bodyguards were getting dizzy than Edgard even if he was reading.

The sun was setting and he could see the view.It was like a miracle if only he could turn time back,he would've save his father from the treacherous wedding.He stared at his ring ,looking concerned.It was getting darker and darker until the lights of the plane were  switched on.He closed his plane window then slept with his book.

Then out of a sudden,The bodyguard, Marcos,gave him a wine with cherry floating on it.Edgard stared at him and started to realize"I should get a drink I mean its just one.....nvermind I'll just take three".He took the wine then drank it with one gulp.He ordered"one more please"as he swallowed its taste.

He also drank the second one until the third one came.Marshal took one pill and then dropped it on his glass.It was bubbling like a cola that was wildy shaken.He mixed it until it disappeared."Here you go,your highness".Edgard took the glass and then drank it.

He swallowed it with one gulp and then handed the glass to Marcos saying"Thank you".Before he took the book from his lap,he suddenly felt dizzy and it seemed to give him a headache.His eyes were getting blurry that he couldn't stand it anymore so he lay his head on the table,dropping the book.

The two bodyguards quickly closed the door to the pilot's room so know one can hear them.Marshal walked slowly to Edgard polishing his military knife."No running ,eh?"When he was about to stab him,the other bodyguard, Marcos,stopped him and said"Wait a second!what if we're doing this the wrong way?I mean we're just soldiers from a good army,right?".

Marshal shove his hand away from him and replied"Yeah,when it comes to money.This one is just easy,we stab him and take his corpse in the bathroom,OK?".Marcos didn't say a word but walked away from him.Marshal raised his knife.Before he could stab him,the plane suddenly stopped flying until it was falling at the sky.

A red light symbol showed to his finger that it burned marshal's arm along the knife."What the heck!?"Marcos replied.A man showed up with a crown on his head,he was red as ever with a sword on his hand."Behave or face the consequences"the man said pointing his sword to the men.

The bodyguards were scared that they begged for forgiveness .They lowered they're head and then cried.The man went to Edgard,helpless sleeping.The man touched Edgard's forehead and kissed it."My son,arise "Then he vanished to thin air with sparkles being sucked at the ring.

Edgard breathe with surprise.The plane stopped falling and the lights came back.Edgard rose up and looked at the ceiling of the plane then slowly turned his head to the bodyguards who were on the ground panting.

"Hey, you two OK?what happened?".They could not say a word after who happened but Marcos stood up and said" Sorry your highness,the plane suddenly fell from the sky!luckily it flew again ".Edgard looked at Marshal. He seems to be panting a lot." Marshal,u OK?"When Marcos looked at Marshal,he was the one who got stab to the knife.
