This was it.. The moment my life has changed all because of a monster !— A man who couldn't tell the truth and because of him everything was changing for the worse for me.
My dream to finish high school , go to college to an ROTC program and join military was crushed... all because she believed him over me .
Sometimes I wish I never met my real family all those years ago— maybe my life would have been more peaceful.. more happy like . Ah fuck it ! It's not like I dwell on it anymore , what's done it done.
So here I am with the monster himself at the airport who seems more than eager to ship me off . I don't even get to say a proper goodbye to my little brother and our dog Lolita.
Looking back I can't still remember the day I met him...

Flashback: 6 years ago - January 18, 2009 ( 10 years old)
"Tina come here honey ! There someone special I want you to meet!" My overly excited mother yelled from the living —"coming mommy." I hollered back getting dressed in a cute white and red striped skater dress which came down to my knees . Slipping on white flats I stepped out of my bedroom which I shared with my baby brother of 9 months old.
Stepping into the living I noticed my grandma and grandpa sitting at the dinning room table looking over to me with big smiles on their faces , while my mother on the other hand was on couch with a bald headed man whom to be truly honest scared the shit out of me with his bulky frame and serious face.
"Mommy .. who is this man" I whispered to my mom so the strange dude wouldn't hear me . Jesus he freaked me out . —" Honey that's rude !" snapped my mother at me while looking apologetically to this strange man beside her .
"Tina , this is Matt, my husband and your baby brother's father as well as your dad now" she tried to assure me but still I didn't know the guy and well didn't exactly like him either . Looking back at him I noticed he was watching me with hawk eyes as if figuring out who the hell I am as well. Right back at ya buddy !!
Mustering up as much courage I finally decided to take the bull by its horns - " Hi , I'm Tina" I whispered so low I think he barely heard me , but surprisingly he heard and took my small hand and gave it a firm shake.
"Nice to me you sweetheart" he replied in a deep baritone voice while finally cracking a grin . Can this be anymore awkward?
"Well since introductions have been made how about we eat and the talk . We have a lot to catch up on son" -my excited grandmother finally announced .
Well what a day, finally I have my mom, a brother , grandparents and .... a creepy looking stepdad .
End of flashback

Looking at the monster in front of me I finally understood why I trusted him in the first place ... he was kind at first , always buying everything I've wanted , taking me to the movies , family game nights with shitload of ice cream and soda, beach days , amusement park destinations and many more ... but I never thought in a million years he would turn my own mother on me and have kick me out of the house .
" Alright , here is your bag with everything you need on the flight. You have the flight details there , you passport and green card, as well as some extra cash and such. Don't talk to strangers and be safe." He finally decided to talk . Wow . Fucking amazing if you ask me .
" Thanks. Well it was great knowing you and such but you don't have to worry anymore. I'll be just fine now that I'll be out of your guys hair —after all I was just a burden right ? Just a black sheep in the family. Have a good life . Bye." I stated and started walking towards my destination not bothering to look back .
So here I am on a flight back to Romania silently crying so no will hear and silently praying I'll never see that monster ever again.
