Hey Guys,
So I know this long title is Alia's dialouge but I know a one shot can come out of this dialouge.
Alu POV
I was happy. I had been because it was depressing because once Kalank shooting ended, I thought I wouldn't see Varun but I did. We had so much fun during promotions. It was just a fun time.
Ranbir was just annoyed because every where he would look or read, there were articles basically saying we had not seen each other for a while and we had been getting comfortable with each other and it was back to square one.
I on the other hand didn't know anything about this. Varun and I had been oblivious to the situation. We hadn't known.
Then one day I was at home and I had been randomly doing something when I heard a knock on my door.
I opened it to find Ranbir on the other side.
" Hey Alia, how are you?" He asked wanting to get a smile out of me.
" Hi Ran." I said with a straight face."
He came in, no invitation no nothing.
He came in and I had to follow him.
" So you want to do anything?" He asked.
" Not really. I was just reading a book." I told him.
" Ah. Let's do that." He replied.
" Oh actually let's put the TV on. Let's see what's on." I told my boyfriend.
" Fine. Let's do that." He said and leaned back.
I switched it on and surprisingly Student was on.
I left it on because I knew Ranbir wouldn't mind.
" Just put anything. I don't care." He sad as I left the remote down.
He looked up and Student was playing.
" Please. Not this anything else." He replied.
" Ranbir, I thought you didn't care." I asked him.
" Well now I do. Just change it." He said.
I changed it by switching the TV off.
" I wanted to watch it by the way." I told him.
" I just hate seeing him." Ranbir said looking at me.
" Yeah. I understand that." I said.
" You do?" He questioned.
" No. I love him. You know that." I said.
" Alia, I thought we are a couple now." He asked me.
" We are." I told Ranbir.
" So what do you need to do?" Ranbir questioned me.
" Nothing. I just need to make a call."
I escaped to the other room to find my sister glaring at me.
" Alia, what's going on?" She asked me.
" What?" I asked extremely defensively.
" Your hangout with the most amazing guy in the industry?" She questioned.
" So Ranbir is here. What's the big problem?" I questioned my sister.
" No nothing really. Just that you usually have these kind of nights with Varun." She tells me.
" I know but I was close to Varun. I understand that but it's Ranbir now. Its very different." I tried explaining to my self than my sister.
" Alia, I just want you to be careful." Shaheen told me.
" I know. I am. You know I was just on my way to call Varun." I told my sister.
" Why? You're here with Ranbir?" She questioned.
" Yeah. I know that but he knows that I just went to make a call. He doesn't know to whom." I explained.
" And you're not going to tell him?" She questioned me.
" No. It'll complicate everything to a higher level." I told her.
Then I escaped my sister and went to make the call.
Varun picked up almost immediately.
" Were you waiting for my call? " I queried curiously.
" No. Ok yes I was. Is that such a bad thing?" He asked.
" No it just means you're not over me. But I'm definitely over you. Ranbir is home." I told Varun.
" Ok, yeah. Then you have to go. Why are you calling me?" He questioned me.
" I just wanted to call. " I explained.
" Alu,Ranbir is sitting waiting for you in the other room, why would you want to call me?" He asked.
" Listen would you and Natasha be up for having dinner with me and Ranbir tomorrow?" I queried.
" Um let's see. I'll ask her Ok." Varun told me.
" Ok. You ask her and message me." I told him.
"Sure. " He said.
" Ok then I'll go." I told him.
" Ok. Good night Alu."He replied.
" Varun." I called.
" Alu, what is it?" He asked sort of concerned.
" Nothing. Just that I love you."I told him.
" Love you too." He replied and disconnected.
I rushed back into the other room when I saw Ranbir look up at me.
" Why did you take so long?" He asked puzzled.
" Yeah I did didn't I." I asked.
" Everything OK with whoever you were talking to?" He asked.
" Oh yeah. Everything is first class." I said without realising the line.
" Right. " He said.
By the way I have invited Varun and Natasha for dinner tomorrow.
" Please be nice." I asked him.
" Sure. I'll be nice. I'll even hug and kiss the guy if you want." Ranbir told me.
" Haha. But for me please." I requested.
" Ok Yeah. I'll be nice." He said.
" Thank you." I told him.
