Camryn's POV

Audrey and Max finally walked back out to the playroom after a little while, and I was so relieved to see them. Not that I wasn't having a great time killing zombies with Ryan, but it was a little weird being alone with him. I quickly slid off the couch and made my way over to them.

"Here you go." I said, handing Max his controller back.

"Thanks." Max said before sitting back down next to Ryan.

"Are you okay?" I asked Audrey.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She nodded. Her face was still blotchy and her eyes puffy from crying.

"Let's go to your room." I said, grabbing her hand.

"You sure?" She asked.

"Yup." I nodded. Audrey led me down the hall and into her room and opened her door. Her walls were painted a lilac purple color, decorated with flowers on the door. It was the coolest room I had ever seen! Especially compared to mine since it's just a boring beige color and I share with my big brother. I love the house the boys and I live in, but I miss having my own room. In my old house my room was painted a light pink and had white polka-dots all over the walls. Dad painted it for me, because I had been complaining about how boring my white walls were. It was hard to think about leaving the house that had my parents' marks all over it.

"You have to tell me what happened with Ryan while I was gone." Audrey said after shutting the door.

"He just asked me if I wanted to play video games with him and I did." I explained.

"What did you talk about?" She asked.

"We didn't really talk at all." I shrugged.

"Why not? That was the perfect chance!" Audrey said.

"Because I don't think I like him, Audrey." I said. Audrey instantly pouted at me.

"You don't? Are you sure?"

"I'm sure." I nodded. "So you can stop trying so hard to make me like him now." I smiled and nudged her playfully.

"I'm sorry." She sighed. "I was just trying to be a good friend."

"You don't have to set me up with a boy to be a good friend. You're always a good friend to me just by being you." I said seriously.

"Really?" She asked.

"Yes." I nodded.

"I'm not used to having a friend, so I was just trying to make sure you'd keep liking me. Like Max said, I've never really had a friend, so I'm sorry if I was being annoying about it." Audrey frowned.

"No, don't be sorry! I thought it was really sweet of you to look out for me, but from now on you don't have to do anything extra okay? I'm not going to stop being your friend." I said.

"Promise?" Audrey smiled and held out her pinky finger to me.

"Promise." I smiled and locked my pinky around hers. After that Audrey and I stuck to playing in her room, far away from the boys. We played and laughed for hours until the doorbell rang and Audrey's Mum was calling for us.

"Girls, it's time for Camryn to go home!" Scarlet said from downstairs.

"No!" Audrey groaned and threw her head back.

"Time flies when you're having fun." I smiled and helped put her toys away.

"You really had fun?" She asked excitedly.

"Yes!" I giggled and stood up.

"Well you can come over whenever you want." She smiled and led me downstairs.

"I'd love to." I smiled walked over to the front door where Niall was waiting and chatting with Audrey's parents.

"Hey, kiddo. Did you have fun?" Niall asked and hugged me.

"Yeah! Lots of fun." I nodded.

"Did you behave?" He asked, raising an eyebrow at me.

"I think so." I nodded and looked at Audrey's parents.

"She was an angel." Scarlet smiled.

"Good to hear. What do you say to Audrey and her parents for allowing you over?" He asked.

"Thank you." I smiled.

"You're so welcome dear, and don't be shy. Come over anytime you want." She smiled.

"Okay." I smiled and nodded. "Bye, Audrey. See you at school." I said before hugging her.

"See ya." Audrey smiled and waved while we walked out to the car. Niall thanked her parents again before unlocking the car and helping me in.

"Cam, don't be alarmed, but we're having a little talk with the boys when we get home." Niall said while driving us home. Don't be alarmed? Whenever someone says don't be alarmed, that usually means something bad.

"What about?" I asked curiously.

"Well, you'll see. We'll just talk later." Niall said. Okay? This can't be good. The rest of the ride home was silent. Millions of thoughts flooded into my head. Not so good thoughts I might add. As soon as I walked in the door the boys greeted me.

"How was your friend's house?" Harry asked.

"What're we having a talk about?" I asked, wanting to get right to it. I was tired of waiting.

"Let's go sit." Louis sighed and led me into the living room, the other boys followed suit.

"What's going on?" I asked nervously while sitting down opposite of them on the couch.

"We just have something we'd like to tell you, but it's really not a big deal at all." Liam said.

"What is it then?" I asked.

"We've been talking recently about how we're getting older and more mature, and maybe we should branch out a bit." Zayn said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"We all think we should get our own places now." Louis said. I sat there in silence, trying to take it all in. I couldn't help but frown.

"Like move away from each other?" I asked.

"No, love, we're going to be in the same neighborhood. We promised each other that we'd stay close." Liam said. I was silent again, not really knowing what to say or even how to feel.

"You're getting older as well, and I know you're going to start wanting your own space. It's not fair for you to have to share a room with your big brother any longer." Harry said. Not gonna lie, Harry was right. I did miss having my own room.

"But when am I going to see you guys?" I asked.

"You'll see us all the time still, Cam." Louis said.

"You promise?"

"We promise." Liam smiled.

"O-Okay." I nodded hesitantly. I knew eventually this would happen, but I guess I wasn't prepared for it yet. I knew they were right and we'd still see each other all the time, but I can't imagine not living with all of them now. All I know is whatever house Niall and I end up in is going to seem really boring without them. But I guess I didn't really have a choice.
