I headed back to the house to check on a few things. As I got near the mansion, girls whispering grew louder from the place.
‘What the heck is all the commotion?’
Stepping inside the mansion, my presence seems to terrify the girls in an unusual way. So I motioned one girl with my index finger to tell me what’s going on.
"Speak."
"Uhm, master. Ericka chan is missing.." She stuttered her words which annoyed me more making her fly off the wall with one wisp of my hand.
"Why did you let this happen?!" I yelled at them with my deep superior voice. "You are all idiots! You had one job and failed it miserably!"
I was now at rage. This couldn’t be happening. I can’t afford to lose her. I need her or else all plans would be ruined.
"I want her back before dawn breaks tomorrow. Is everyone clear with that?!" I commanded and they nodded immediately as they scrambled away from his sight to set foot on their task.
‘This could be trouble if I let her go. What if the witches took her already?! ‘
"Hey there kai!" Reita dashed over my side wiping the blood on his mouth with the back of his hand.
"She's gone." I simply told them.
They had smirks plastered on their faces as if they were annoying me more than I should. Nonetheless, I avoided their gaze and pre occupied my mind of where she could have gone.
"So what if she’s gone?" Uruha purred in my ear as he rested his arm on my shoulder.
"Yeah kai, haven’t seen you this worried or frantic about some slave before." Aoi added.
"She can’t leave and that’s final!" I ended the conversation and went outside to free myself from them.
I could still hear their laughs echoing from the mansion but I tried to drown all of it as I dashed farther from the place. I must find her.
Using my powers, I tracked to where Jasmine was. I bet she already knows the news. I ran across the forest and while I was doing so my mind was buzzing me with thoughts of her.
"Stop!" I heard a familiar voice opposite of where I am.
I guess I was pretty occupied with my own thoughts that I lost track of what was my goal.
"You lost her didn’t you?" She asked me as she stepped out from the shadows.
"Yeah, I did."
She giggled and patted my back. It confused me for a bit but I shrugged at her action.
"Don’t worry I’m trying to find her as well but her scent somewhat disappeared from this certain area." She pointed a bit farther into the deep woods and I followed her to the path.
I saw the beautiful flower and crushed it on the grass with my foot. The thoughts filled me now of what happened; fully understanding of the situation. She was kidnapped by the sirens.
"Syria." Anger rushed me as I kicked the wrinkled destroyed flower away from my sight.
