White.
White walls, white furniture. Everything a brilliant shade of white.
The sight that flooded into Cleo's retinas as her eyes surprisingly didn't take any time at all to adjust to. Normally, she be internally cursing like a road raging truck driver, and making some weird noise, but it didn't bother her. She felt a bit out of place in the room, her brown skin providing a stark contrast with her surroundings. Thoughts bubbled inside her head at a faster rate than usual, whispers that didn't really sound like the run of the mill, "slowly going insane" voices were humming inside her braining, coming and going increasingly making the struggle to identify them harder. In her mindscape, she barely registered the white t-shirt and white pants that she didn't remember putting on.
Pushing herself off the couch that happen to be - you guessed it - white, she found herself walking with a grace she didn't know she had. Usually she just put one foot in front of the other and hoped she continued her non-tripping streak, but this was different. Like she was walking on air.
She walked towards the door that she'd only just noticed, and entered a (surprise, surprise) white hallway. And as she looked around, she found herself slightly bothered by the unending corridors of empty walls. Despite the voices in her head, one random tidbit of information she'd read up somewhere reminded her that being in a white room for so long could drive a human being insane. She didn't really feel all that up to losing anymore screws in her head.
She walked on, memory by memory falling into place. She remembered a name...Cleo. For some reason it reminded her of herself. She decided to call herself that for now. Another name popped into mind as well.
Lily Winchester.
Whenever she thought of it, a familiar, warm feeling washed over her and she wanted to remember, but she couldn't seem to get her thoughts to align just yet. She recalled having some sort of accident...and a demon.
She furrowed her eyebrows, and without thinking a name slipped off her lips. "Cas?" She asked. She didn't quite understand why she'd felt the need to say it aloud, maybe because the voices would've drowned it away.
She was surprised at her own voice, barely recognizing it as her own. It didn't sound at all effected by however long she'd spent silent, and not one voice crack.
"Cleo, what're you doing?!" A voice called out from her memories.
Who was that?
She heard herself speak, not at all able to remember this. "I'm going to save you guys!"
It didn't make sense until she put the pieces together. She didn't recall the universe being such a cliche but she didn't remember much anyways.
She was dead, well, key word: was.
"Good, you're awake." A familiar voice said behind her.
She swiveled around, and tilted her head in recognition.
"Cas."
Castiel held a passive expression, seemingly not surprised at her presence.
"Welcome to Heaven."
