Ava wakes up to Mikey jumping on the couch.

"Get up, get up, get up!" He yells like a little kid.

Ava chuckles and hides under her pillow, trying to evade Mikey.

"Mikey, just because you act like a little kid, doesn't mean you weigh like one!!" She yells.

Mikey stops and jumps off.

"Are you calling me fat?" Mikey asks, a hurt look on his face.

"No! That's not what I meant!" Ava says frantically.

She goes silent as Mikey covers his face with his hands and sobs.

"I'm so sorry." She says sadly, a hand on his shoulder.

She hears Mikey giggling, and pulls his hands away to reveal him barely containing his laughter. Her eyes narrow, and she lightly smacks his arm.

"You tricked me!" She shouts, even though she isn't that angry.

"Yeah." Mikey says with a smile.

"Let's go get breakfast!" He says as he picks her up bridal style.

"What are you doing?" Ava says as she struggles to get off, her face red.

"I'm carrying you to the kitchen. What does it look like I'm doing?" Mikey says, holding her tighter so she won't break free.

Ava crosses her arms and just waits for the ride to be over.

They finally got to the kitchen. Ava's eyes went round and she gasps. There was a a giant pile of pancakes at the table. Mikey sets her down and passes her a plate.

"Help yourself." He says as he serves 5 pancakes on his plate.

Ava places 3 pancakes on her plate and cautiously takes a bite, it being her first time eating them.  They were not that great.

"That's not how you eat it!" Mikey exclaims, pulling the plate back.

"This is how you eat it." Mikey says, drizzling a cup of syrup on top.

Ava watches, thinking about how many extra pounds those pancake were now worth.

Mikey shoves the plate back to her, and she takes a bite. Her eyes widen, and she gasped.

"Oh. My. Gosh." Is all that she says, as she starts eating her pancakes rapidly.

"Aw great, Mikey. Now she's acting like you." Raph comments.

Ava blushed, and ate slower.

After Breakfast

Ava's eyes are closed as she meditates peacefully in a corner. Splinter had invited her to watch the turtles train, but she was happy meditating.

Splinter watches her from the corner of his eye. It was impressive how deep she could go into a trance. Not even the loud sounds of his sons and April training stirred her in any way.

Suddenly, April misses her mark with her fan, and it flies toward Ava. Everyone shouts a warning, but since she is in the deep trance, she wouldn't be able to hear them. Or so he thought.

Ava instantly opens her eyes, and with lightning reflexes, catches the fan before it hits her face. Everyone gasps in wonder.

Ava gets up and passes the fan to April.

"May I speak with you, Avalon?" Splinter questions, using her full name.

Ava nods and follows Splinter into his little room. Splinter looks back at his students.

"Continue the kata you all have been practicing."

The second Splinter closes the door, everyone, even Leo, lean against the door to eavesdrop.

"How did you know the fan was going to hit you? I know you were in a deep trance." Splinter says.

Ava shrugs her shoulders a little.

"I honestly don't know. I just get this feeling whenever I am in danger."

Splinter thinks on this for a bit.

"You have a special gift, but without training, this sixth sense could fade. Will you promise me you will train yourself?" He says, striking his beard.

"Hai, Master Splinter." She says earnestly.

"Good." Splinter says as they walk out.

April and the turtles quickly scramble back into place, but it was too late. Splinter had seen them.

"Did you all memorize the kata?" Splinter says sarcastically.

I haven't updated in a while, but I'm here!!! Please suggest ideas, I'll give credit. My brain is pretty fried.

May the turtleness be with you.
