The Next Generation of The Avenger Kids One Shots

I love you mamas/Gamortasha (Endgame spoliers)

"MAMA SPIDER!!" Nathen cried out. He sat up in his bed hugging his knees close to his chest, the tears beginning to stream down his eyes and cheeks.

The nightmares where the worst part when he slept, they where like memories of something happening in another timeline or universe. They destroyed him and they always caused him to cry out for his mamas.

"My little spider?"

Nathen's head perked up when he heard Natasha's voice, when he saw his mama she walked over to him and sat down beside him.

"My little spider, what's wrong?"

He was quite.

"Let me guess nightmares?"

He nodded his head.

Natasha opened her arms to her son, causing him to jump in her embrace. Natasha wrapped her arms around her son, her fingers running threw his hair. They stayed like that for a minute, only until Natasha asked the million dollar question.

"What was it about?"

Nathen didn't speak, he was scared. The last nightmare he had, he saw his mother Gamora get thrown off a cliff and died. Pearl showed him another universe where it did happen. He had no idea if he should tell his mama spider about he dream, he was scared it would happen in the other universe.

"Nathen?"

"I was hanging off the edge of a cliff, and with one hand I was hanging on the to cliff while my the hand was holding yours. I was older. I think 10 years older, I kept holding on to your hand, but you told me to let go. Then the next thing I knew, you letted go and I watched you land on the ground. You died mama spider."

Natasha kisses the top of her sons head, she hated seeing him like this. He was always so brave and strong, but Natasha and Gamora knew what their son was really like. He was scared, shy, clingy, he was emotional, he was everything they loved about him. Nathen was brave and still soft hearted.

"My little spider, I'm not going anywhere I promise."

Nathen stayed quite, Natasha knew their was only one thing that could help him sleep. Natasha laid him back down on his pillow and covered him with his blanket. Natasha places her hand on the side of his face and gave him one last kiss.

Natasha kneeled down in front of him and started to sing.

"When the sun shines we'll shine together, know that we'll still have each other. That I'll always be your mama, I took an Otha I'm a stick it out till the end."

Nathen blinked a few tears that where forming in his eyes, he was 23 years old from his universe but here he is. He is in the universe where Thanos snapped his fingers, the place where his nightmare of Gamora getting killed took place.

And here he is, his hand holding the edge of the cliff while the other was holding his mothers hand. It wasn't his mother, it was Natasha from the universe where Thanos snapped.

"Nathen you need to let go."

Nathen shook his head rapidly.

"NO!! I can't, I just can't!! If I do then my nightmare comes true!! I can't lose you mama spider."

Natasha pulled herself up a little. "Nathen look at me."

Threw the tears in his eyes Nathen looked at his mother.

"I'm not YOUR Natasha, I'm this universes Natasha. Nathen, I would never forgive myself if I let another me's child died. But listen, YOUR mama Spider is safe. She is in your universe waiting for her son to return. Nathen YOUR Natasha needs her son, I'll be okay. Let go."

Nathen didn't budge, he closed his eyes. He kept his eyes closed only to open them when he heard someone singing.

"When the sun shines we'll shine together, know that we'll still have each other. That I'll always be your mama, I took an Otha I'm a stick it out till the end."

"Mama."

"I love you Nathen, and I'm so proud of you."

Natasha released her grip on Nathen's hand, she fell. Nathen screamed, a river of tears streaming down his face. His heart began to break as he watched his mother land on the ground, crimson blood spilling from her head.

The memory kept playing in his head over and over again as he walked to where Clint was, the soul stone in his hand. When Clint saw that Natasha wasn't wth him, he didn't ask, he knew what happened to her. They turned their suits on, but before they went back Clint wrapped his arms around Nathen and held his  nefu from another universe tight in his arms.

"I know bud, I know."
