"Steve, it's your turn." Brock mumble, Steve didn't say a word. Instead he climbed out of bed and walked to his 6 weeks old daughters room. Steve entered, he walked over to the black and red striped crib, he peered down as he saw his beautiful daughter.
"Shhhhh, it's okay baby girl, it's okay. Papa is here." Steve picked his daughter up and cradle her in his arms. Brooklyn claimed down once she was in her papa's arms. Steve sat down in the rocking chair beside he window, he placed Brooklyn's little head against his shoulder.
Steve rocked back and forth in the chair.
This was something he always enjoyed, holding his beautiful daughter close to him, the peace and quite sending them both to sleep, her quite snores brining him to a peaceful and beautiful place.
There was no lie he loved his daughter. He would do anything for her.

"Come on Brooklyn say dada, say bless." Steve continued to say."No baby girl, say 'America ass'." Brock said, a chuckle escaping his lips as Steve punched him in the shoulder. "Our daughter is not saying that." Brock stood up from he ground when he heard the phones rang. He answered as Steve stayed down with his daughter.
"Steve, it's Natasha." Brock told him.
Steve got up from the ground and took the phone from Brock, Brock went back to his daughter trying to get her to say her first word. Brooklyn just laughed and placed her tiny hands on her fathers face.
Brooklyn passed Brock and crawled to her father, she tug on his pant leg. Steve looked down and scooped Brooklyn up in his arms.
"Hey Brooklyn, you know who I'm talking to? Your auntie Natasha. You wanna talk to her?" Steve handed the phone to Brooklyn but she pushed it away. Steve shrugged it off and continued to talk to Natasha.
"Papa!"
Steve froze.
Brock stood up from the ground.
Natasha was howling with joy.
"She called me papa!! She called me papa!!" Steve said over and over again. Brock hugged his husband and his daughter as Brooklyn kept chanting 'Papa'.

"Sam, can you send Brooklyn over for me?""Of course anything for you buddy."
Sam pat Brooklyn's shoulder, nodding his head towards the now elderly Steve Rogers sitting on the log. Brooklyn was frozen. She took a breath and walked towards her father.
Brooklyn looked at the man and smiled a little, "papa? Is it you?" Steve looked at Brooklyn and smiled. "Hi princess." Brooklyn sat down beside her father and looked at him. Steve raised his hand and placed on the side of her face, he then moved her hair that was covering her eye and pinned it behind her ear.
"So, a HYDRA agent did that?" Steve asked. Brooklyn placed a finger to the eye that was blinded. "Yeah, they did that."
Brooklyn placed a hand on top of Steve's the one that was rested on her cheek. She leaned into the touch and smiled widely. Tears falling from her eyes.
"You got your happy ending." She said.
"That's right princess, I did get my happy ending. It may have not been with Brock but that's in your universe. I got my happy ending with -"
"Peggy Carter. I know, you told me about her. You thought that if you told me about her, she would be a good influence on me. I guess she was."
"She truly was, Brooklyn. I may not be your Steve, your papa, but know how proud I am of you. You showed everyone that you are not a HYDRA agent, you showed that by writing your story, you became the hero you wanted to be, the hero your meant to be. I'm so proud of you."
"Papa!!" Brooklyn yelled, the tears streaming down her face. She wrapped her arms around Steve's neck and held him close. Steve wrapped both of his arms around his shaking, crying, and weeping daughter. He held her close, Steve placed a small kiss on the side of Brooklyn's head.
They didn't let go of each other, they stayed like that for what felt like hours. But they letted each other go when Pearl said it was time to head back.
Brooklyn letted go of Steve and helped him up.
The way towards home was opened by Pearl, all the kids said goodbye to their parents from another universe.
Nathen, Mable and Pearl stayed behind.
Brooklyn gave her papa one last hug, she whipped away the last bit of tears. Steve placed his hand on her shoulder and smiled, "go Brooklyn, your papa and dad are waiting for you. They want to see their daughter. Go."
Brooklyn walked over to the gateway to home, she looked back at her father and smiled. The four where about to head home but stopped when Bucky yelled out. The four looked at Bucky, he walked over to the four and smiled.
"Take care of each other. Your gonna need each other after everything that happened."
