She's blind in one eye.
When she was six years old, a HYDRA Agent invaded the tower and found Brock, Steve and Brooklyn. Steve fought against the agent and long story short, Brooklyn got shoot by a laser and she became blind. I honestly wanted to mention this cause some people might have gotten confused as to way Brooklyn always covers one of her eyes.
