Chapter One: The Meeting

Doc arose from his slumber and looked over at the clock, 8 AM. Sighing, Doc forces himself out of his bed and began getting ready for the day. 

After showering and getting dressed it was now 9 AM. Only 2 more hours, Doc thought to himself. Today was the day he was going to meet G0Z, the popular clown who owns the Circus in the Sky! He was meeting him to apply for a job at the circus as a booth owner. Doc is slightly nervous to meet the clown, because.. well.. Doc looks up to G0Z and if G0Z rejects him he would be crushed.

Time seems to be dragging onto Doc. As the time for his meeting approaches Doc begins to get more and more anxious. He has a pit in his stomach and his hands are clammy. Looking back up at the clock, it's 10:30, and that means it's time to head to the Circus. 

Doc arrives at the Circus 10 minutes before he has to meet with G0Z. Doc takes this time to explore the circus. He is wondering around in a dazed state and bumps into someone.

"Hey!" The voice says irritated.

"Oh! I-I'm sorry s-sir!" Doc stutters while he looks up at who the voice came from, it's a clown with bandages over his head and a smashed light bulb. I wonder how that happened Doc thought to himself.

The clown huffs and responds, "watch where you are walking next time idiot," and the clown stumbles away. 

Doc stood and watched the clown walk away. When Doc is just about to turn around he hears a... giggle? 

"Isn't YUKC0 just the sweetest thing!" someone says enthusiastically.

Doc turns to see who said that, it's G0Z! Docs stomach drops and he forces a smile, trying to hide how nervous he is, "haha! y-yeah he sure is!" Doc responds. 

"You must be the 11 o'clock meeting, right?" G0Z asks.

"Y-Yeah!" Doc squeaked. Doc internally face-palmed, Get it together Doc! he thought to himself.  

G0Z chuckled, "Well right this way! My office is over here!"

Doc nodded and followed a step behind G0Z, hoping G0Z wouldn't notice how anxious he is. They reach G0Z's office and Doc takes a seat at a small table, G0Z takes a seat across from him. Doc takes a deep breath to try to calm his nerves. G0Z chuckles at this which makes Doc look up at G0Z, who then says "You don't need to be so nervous!" 

Doc tilts his head to the right and gives G0Z a confused look, "wha?" is all he could manage to say. 

G0Z smiles and responds, "We always need a helping hand here at the Circus! I actually like you since you are also a doctor! I'll have Kermo build your booth!"

Doc sits in silence, he's shocked. D-did G0Z really just say that?  He thought to himself. Doc snaps back into reality. "O-oh! He doesn't need to, I can make it myself."

G0Z smiles, "Okay! Be back here with your booth next Monday at 10 AM!" 

G0Z and Doc stand up and shake hands. 

"Th-Thank you G0Z" Doc stutters and looks at the ground.

G0Z giggles, "No problem Austin! Or should I call you Doctor?" 

Doc looks back up at G0Z, "Doc is fine" 

"Alright Doc! Welcome to the Circus in the Sky!" says a happy G0Z.

Doc smiles, "I-I'm glad to b-be here!"

 G0Z shows Doc around the Circus and shows him were his booth will be. Towards the end of their meeting G0Z introduces Doc to the Circus Crew.

"Alright everyone! We have a new booth owner!" G0Z says, "Welcome Doc!"

Doc smiles shyly and waves, "h-hi everyone" 

In front of him are 3 clowns, 2 bunnies(?), and a girl with a mask and purple hair. 

G0Z turns to Doc "Those 3 are YUKC0, Z00ZY, and SN00TZ! The two beautiful people with the bunny masks are Caroline and Clinten!" Caroline & Clinten wave, "and she is Morgenne!" G0Z says pointing towards the girl in the mask and purple hair. 

"Oh yeah! Bureikou is also a part of the crew but she is out with Kermo right now." G0Z tells Doc. 

Doc nods and forces a smile while he waves to everyone. 

G0Z looks down at his watch, "Oh man! Look at the time! I have another meeting to do soon but feel free to look around and talk to the others!" G0Z says before he runs off. 

Doc ends up interacting with a few of the circus crew before deciding to leave. Doc heads home and dives onto his bed. I can't believe I got a job at the Circus in the Sky.
