Chapter Eight: The First Date

"So G0Z.. will you go out with me?" Doc looks at G0Z awaiting his answer. 

"Of course Doccy!" G0Z answers.

Doc and G0Z smile at each other before Albert comes back over and shoots Doc a wink. 

Present Time

It's been about a week since Doc confessed to G0Z and today is their first date. Doc tries his best to dress nice but he doesn't have many nice outfits. 

Doc is nervous and keeps glancing at the clock as the time for his date with G0Z gets closer. Everything will go fine! Doc keeps telling himself. Doc takes a deep breath and sits down until it's time to meet up with G0Z.

Time Skip

Doc leaves to go meet with G0Z for their date. Doc walks up to G0Z "Hey G0Z" 

"Doccy! Hiya!" G0Z responds excitedly.

Doc smiles and G0Z smiles back. "Oh yeah Doccy! I got something for you!" G0Z turns around and grabs something, "Here!" In G0Z's hand is a blue rose.

Doc takes the rose "Thank you G0Z.. but now I feel bad because I didn't bring you anything.."

"Oh no, it's fine Doccy! The rose just really reminded me of you!" G0Z chuckles.

Doc's face heats up and he smiles, "Come on, lets go!" 

Doc and G0Z walk to an old cafe. "Ah It's not the best place for a date but.. I don't have a lot of money" Doc says.

"It's perfect Doccy! Anywhere is fine as long as I'm with you!" G0Z tells Doc. 

Doc blushes and holds the door open for G0Z. 

Doc and G0Z order and take their seats. While they are at the cafe Doc and G0Z talk about many things and got to know each other more. G0Z told Doc about Father Sun and that he enjoys making videos on a site called "YouTube." G0Z did most of the talking while Doc listened, he enjoys hearing G0Z talk about things he is passionate about.

The time comes for Doc and G0Z to leave the cafe. On their way out they bump into three girls, one of the girls they had seen before.. wasn't her name Dinky? "Oh! You guys work at that Circus right! The one in the clouds?" 

"Yup! The Circus in the Sky!" G0Z answers. 

Dinky giggles "These are my friends! Paige and Yato!" 

The girls wave at the couple. "Yato..? I've heard that name before." G0Z says.

"Oh! Well I like to say I'm YUKC0's daughter." Yato answers. 

G0Z chuckles and Doc speaks up "Nice meeting you all but G0Z and I are... are kinda on a date so we need to get going.." 

"Oh! Sorry! We didn't mean to intrude!" Yato says.

"Have fun on your date!" Paige says while walking away.

"Hey Paige.. what's a date? Is it something I can eat?" Dinky asks.

"Uhhhh" Paige says.

The girls walk off and Doc and G0Z continue on their way.  While Doc and G0Z are walking back to the Circus G0Z grabs Docs hand. Doc gets flustered at this. 

The two arrive back at the circus. "Well that was a fun cute date!" G0Z says.

"mhmm!" Doc agrees. 

"I can't wait to go on another one!" G0Z says happily.

Doc smiles at G0Z and G0Z returns it.

"awwww! The love birds!" Caroline says. 

"So cute" Clinten whispers. 

Doc and G0Z blush and look down. 

"I'll see you tomorrow?" Doc asks. 

"Yeah! Of course Doccy!" G0Z says.

The two say their goodbyes and Doc heads home. 

Doc smiles as he walks into his house and sits down on his couch.

I'm dating the best person in the world.
