(Chapter 1)
Stella's POV
It was so hot out today, and I'm staying inside in the cool air conditioner in the White House. I was watching TV in the living room sitting upside down on the couch when my Uncle Kevin came in front of TV and I said.
Stella: uh hi Uncle Kevin could you move away from the TV please
Uncle Kevin: Stella, you have been watching TV for two hours. It's time for you to stop moping around on TV and do something with your life. Now, where's the rest of your cousins?
Stella: well Natasha has detention... so does Kyle, Savannah is at school doing a project with her partner and Annie well she's in the tea room having a tea party by herself with her stuff animals
Uncle Kevin: and what will u be doing?
Stella: nothing, nothing at all
Uncle Kevin: oh no you're not, because until you do some school activities and actually "do something" outside of the White House. You will be working with me
Stella: you mean work, work, as in actual movement?
Uncle Kevin: yes, and until then you got a week to do something or else
Stella: but Uncle Kevin... how am I gonna do something that I like by the end of the week?
Uncle Kevin: well then your just gonna have to find a way somehow. I will also be informing your father and mother as well
I sigh, and he left and I turn off my TV and think. "How am I supposed to come up with something, so I don't have to work for him" *shivers* I hate working, I hate every bit of it. I maybe the President Daughter, but I totally don't get my own way or how I want.
At Around Dinner Time.
Everybody in Stella's family accept her parents, who are working late are having dinner. Stella stood up on her chair, and they all had their attention on her.
Joe: what are you doing? Get off the chair Stella.
Stella: no, I need to tell u guys something
Joe: alright, well... what is it?
Stella: Uncle Kevin, you remember when you told me if I didn't find anything to do after school, you said you would make me work for you after school?
He nods his head.
Stella: well my friend Molly told me that there's this musical I could do and I really want to try it, so, can I?
Kevin: sure as long as you're doing something after school instead indoors at the White House. I'm totally fine with it
Stella: great no work for me
Kevin: but...
Stella: please tell me this is good "but"
Kevin chuckles at her but continued.
Kevin: but if you quit the play, you're gonna have to start working for me. Unless... you find another activity, but it has to be somewhere by this week
Stella: don't worry Uncle Kevin I know
Kevin: alright
Natasha: speaking of "after school activity" Kyle and I form a band together
Alena: you two in a band together? This is defiantly something I got to see
Kyle: it's true, we are in it was some other people from school that we met in detention
Joe: whoa- whoa wait a minute you two had detention? What for?
Natasha: uh... Who wants desert?
Stella: no thanks I'm full, you're on your own
All the kids ran off from the table except Kyle and Natasha. The rest of the grown up were waiting on Kyle and Natasha response, but Valentina came back, and took her bowl of ice cream and left.
Joe: okay... would one of you start explaining?
They both look at each other than at them and one at the time they each told their story.
