Chapter 21:

Stella's POV
I was pretty nervous when my parents came up. I hope they don't cancel today's event as my punishment because they were supposed to meet Jacob and get to know him. I was really looking forward to it, especially when we all haven't had a family dinner together in a long time, because both my parents were always busy. After I told them how I felt, they both tried their best to attend family time more often. So if they are planning on that, I have a plan that will make them change their mind.

Just then the door to my bedroom opened and both of my parents did not look happy. I looked up at them and before my dad could say anything I interrupt what he had to say first.

Stella: look I know I'm in trouble, and I should have told you guys what was going on guys sooner, but I didn't want you guys to get into my business
Selena: sweetheart you're only 13, we just want to know what's going on in your life, because you haven't told us anything. We feel like you're isolating us out

They were right, I haven't been talking to my parents in a long time, and I feel bad that I don't tell them things anymore, especially my mom because I would talk to her about anything, before dad became President.

Stella: *sighs* I know, and I'm sorry I made you guys feel this way, I didn't know how to talk you guys without you getting angry with me at my decisions

Both of us looked over at dad and I said.

Stella: well daddy...
Nick:  *sighs and sit down next to her* baby girl, I know we haven't spend time together as a family, and I feel bad you were afraid to come to us with your problems. So I decided I wasn't going to cancel tonight event
Stella: *smiles up at him* you're not?
Nick: no... but that doesn't mean that you're off the hook
Stella: *frowns* I was hoping you were gonna say that, so what's my punishment
Selena: oh your punishment will be a lot worse, but not what your uncles suggested
Stella: what did the suggest?
Nick: a strapping
Stella: what that's not fair! I wasn't the only one involved why am I the only one getting the harsh spanking
Nick: relax Stella, I'm not going to spank you
Stella: oh what a relief, but why?
Nick: like you're mother said she has other punishment worse than a spanking
Stella: what could be worse than a spanking?
Selena: something my mother would have done to me, if I was in your shoe
Stella: so... does that mean you're not canceling our plans Saturday either  daddy, because I really want to spend the day with you *does the puppy dog face*
Nick *sighs* only if you promise to talk to us more before you do any serious dangerous, because you could get yourself in serious trouble
Stella: *smiles* thank you daddy *hugs him*
Selena: ah hem
Stella: *giggles* thank you to mommy

I hugged both of my parents and they hugged me back before we let go and mom said.

Selena: how about I'll help you pick out your outfit for tonight?
Stella: really? Because I have no idea what I'm going to wear
Nick: well you two pick out her outfit, but make sure it's appropriate out wear Selena
Selena: hey! I would never let my own daughter wear inappropriate outfit
Nick: what about that shirt that went past her belly button?
Selena: did she say I bought her that shirt? I didn't buy her that shirt, I told her she couldn't get that shirt

They both looked at me and I nervously laughed at them and said.

Stella: awww... come on mom and dad, that was like ages ago. I shouldn't be punished for that
Selena: you're lucky I didn't find out about it a while ago because your bottom would have been burning. When I find that shirt I'm gonna burn it
Stella: but mom- *get cut off*
Selena: no buts Stella, I told you only appropriate  our wear because you're in the public eye and I don't want people judging you. Where is it...
