She ended up in the bar the police raided. Wisdom got so confused that she went out of the car to investigate. She peeped through the bar door. She saw an old man hitting another man with his head while laughing.

He is insane. A cychopath would laugh like that not a normal person. Simon even laughed at it like crazy.

Wisdom was standing behind him shivering. She was scared of what would the young insane guy do to her. She ran away and tried crossed the street because her car parked across the bar.

Simon pulled her hood off. She tried to get away from him, but he quickly gripped her hair. She whimpered in pain.

"What are you doing here?" He asked with his teeth closed, gripping stronger.

He really went insane. He threw her down on the ground and laughed at her. He crouched at her position and held her chin to face him.

You foolish child, I told you, you have an affair with a monster, he whispered again.

She could have believed her ancestor's voice. She thought of a plan. She had to quickly unholster the gun or wound his leg with the hidden blade.

"You following me, lass," he asked.

No response from the assassin.

Good thing, she had a silencer attached in the gun. That could make the crowd silent for a night.

She quickly unholstered the gun and shot him at the chest. She put on a hood and saw Simon bleeding. At least, she made the fury end.

The old man went out of the bar. She aimed the gun and shot the trigger. The bullet went through the man's head.

The fury wasn't totally finished yet. Simon should fully recover mentally and physically. She would help Simon hunt down his teammates.

Simon's eyes were blinking open, struggling to stay awake. Wisdom helped him up and put him in her car. She drove as fast as she could to take Simon to the hospital.

Simon was lucky to have a partner who would help in all circumstances. Despite his mental instability, he fell for the girl.

Wisdom sent him to the emergency room to cure his wounds. She planned to send him to the mental hospital to cure his mental health.

She waited for the operation to be finished. It took her an hour to wait outside. The doctor went out from the operation room.

"Is he your husband," the doctor asked.

Wisdom got pissed off. She got feelings, but not really in a relationship. She tried to hold her temper.

"No, just a friend," she answered.

"I see," the doctor said in realization. "Okay, the bullet that hit him missed the lung and you managed to get him here as quick as possible. He will be fine," he explained.

"Thank you, doc," she said.

The doctor came back in the operation room. Wisdom wasn't tired of waiting, but tired of dealing Simon's shit. She planned to take him to a mental hospital, but something was stopping her.

Let the monster be unleashed to the great evil, he whispered again.

She decided not to take him there. It wasn't her choice, but the choice of my ancestor. She had to obey, for she wanted to express her sorry in action rather than words.

She went in, in his room. He was peacefully sleeping. There was an urge in her that wanted to tie the guy in ropes. Altaïr always stopped her from doing so.

She wanted to go home, but she could not. She had to take care of her partner. She was so tired, but she had to stay on guard because the monster could be unleashed anytime.
