So plans changed over so quickly and now I'm even more nervous, what's the agenda this time around? I don't know what they are up to now a days.
GM: "Could you be ring announcer until the main event?"
Me: "I will try"
GM: "Thank You"
That's even worse but all I have to do is put on a brave face and get on with the show as soon as possible and so I did.
All that night near enough I have been announcing wrestlers in and out of matches, announcing them while making an entrance, announcing the winners and that was hard for me because I had never done that before.
I was relieved when I was called backstage to be ready as a referee now that the actual ring announcer is back, I can't believe she was even late.
Seriously?
Me: "Thank God for that"
I got ready and I saw the two competitors in the match already brawling one another and they are guys that is scary, I hope none of them hit me during that match.
(I was blessing myself backstage)
Taya: "Are you ok?"
Me: "Yeah"
Taya: "It's gonna be ok"
Me: "I hope so"
Taya: "I'm John's best friend, you can trust me"
Me: "Oh Nice to meet you Taya"
Taya: "You too Audrey, I better go"
Me: "Ok"
I was literally thinking to myself all day...
Why me? Why me?
I do think I need to toughen up a little so I'm gonna do this and I'm gonna stay positive about it.
There were faces there that I recognised from my WWE journey, Justin Gabriel and Rey Mysterio they were there and I didn't think I would ever see them again.
Right now I have to focus and I have done and I'm making my way to the ring now just waiting and hoping that this all goes the way I planned it.
Earlier on today I have been like I hope this goes well I hope this goes really well and that's what I'm aiming to do as the ref for tonight's main event.
