It was already 8th Gaon Chart Music Awards 2019, and Jisoo was nervous. Not that she isn't familliar with the camera, but for not getting enough sleep and lacking energy for weeks.
Jisoo gathered herself together, rehearsing in her mind while giving warm reactions to every performance.
She stopped rehearsing as soon as a loud chant takes all over the place, everyone waving their lighsticks and screaming their lungs out. She looked up the stage and saw BTS on their position to perform fake love. Taehyung started the song, which made her a bit stunned, not knowing what reaction to give to avoid suspicious doubt from anyone.
She watched how hot Taehyung danced, how sweat dripped down his face, and how tired he looked for all those busy schedules they have.
Although she was extremely worried by Taehyung's state, she managed to stay still and not get obvious.
"Unnie.." Lisa called, Jisoo who was oblivious kept her eyes on the stage. Completely forgetting that they're going to perform next.
"Unnie, Unnie.." Lisa called which made Jisoo snap out of her senses.
"Yeah?" she asked.
"We need to go on the backstage. We're going to perform next," Lisa said. Jisoo glanced at her surrounding. Not finding Rosè and Jennie who headed their way on the backstage.
"Oh, I forgot. Sorry." she apologizes as she glanced one last time at Taehyung who was looking at her while dancing. They shared a five seconds eye contact before Jisoo decided to break it and go with Lisa.
"Ah, i'll just go to the nearest restroom." Jisoo said, as soon as they arrived backstage.
"Yeah sure. Be quick. Idol is almost done." Jisoo nods before quickly heading to the nearest comfort room.
She washed her faced and then stared at herself on the mirror recalling how Lisa kind of suspected something earlier, "Get back to your senses," she sternly whispered to herself.
"Take your worries away first and perform properly," she once again said, she rolled her eyes as she felt really spaced out. And then soon let out a soft chuckle after remembering something.
BTS' performance ended with loud chants and screams. Armys waving their lightsticks. Taehyung gave everyone a smile that made the fans' screams more and more louder. As soon as BTS finished, Blackpink started by Ddu du Ddu du. Bts headed backstage to wipe their sweats away and rest a bit after performing.
Taehyung felt uneasy. He really wanted to watch her.
"I want to watch!" Namjoon stated, as he liked the girls' songs ever since Boombayah.
"Can we go back to our spot, manager?" Jungkook asked, aswell.
"Are you sure about that?" Their manager reassured. Both nodded quickly, "We just wanna watch the performance."
"No. Sorry, boys but you know about all the shipping that has been going around your group and theirs," their manager said firmly.
"We'll come back quickly," Namjoon said trying to convince their manager. Jungkook just shrugged it off, he enjoys their songs but he is also completely aware of how he was being shipped with the youngest member of Blackpink.
"Just let them go, Manager. Hyung probably wants to flex that he saw Blackpink perform to his kids in the future," Jimin teased. Namjoon just hissed after being teased.
"We'll stay until the next performance so it wouldn't be obvious and the shipping won't necessarily have a point," Namjoon pointed out.
Their manager went into a deep thought before nodding. As the other members rest, Namjoon and Jungkook was about to leave when Taehyung spoke.
