We had a lovely afternoon,
Coffee, while we walked.
Waiting for the next opportune;
But She kept sounding so damn sad when she talked.

I asked her, "why do you stay with him?"
She always says it's love.. or hope.
Either way, I'm thinking something grim;
A way for her and I to finnaly elope..

When it starts getting dark,
I offer to take her home.
Swiftly leaving the park,
Even though we're completely alone.

I came upon her road,
And found I couldnt stop.
Thinking of her being sloughed,
And making those pretty eyes pop.

"Where are you taking me?"
She asks, sounding worried.
"Honey, you'll see," locking the car doors,
I say "You're not in a hurry."

She begs me to let her out of the car, her voice quivering with fear.
Getting me excited I've taken it this far,
I tell her "it's okay, we're almost here..."
