Chapter 6

Its two weeks later and the girls are in the café, rush hour is over and the place is almost lifeless once again. The blonde female looks over at her best friend who is drawing outfits in her sketchbook. "Hey Brook, remember the guy that you hooked up with? The one with the brother?" she asks. The brunette looks up at her confused. "You know, the one from the club uh...Lou...Liam...Lake?" she asks trying to recall the name. "Oh you mean Luke? Yeah we talk a lot in Uni, we have lunch together a lot and I always seem to bump into him everywhere" she says. "You like him?" Luna asks looking smugly at her friend. "Well uh, he's hot, he smokes, he's really sweet but uh...you see..." She trails off, looking at the ground. "You hooked up with him again, didn't you?" she asks looking at her best friend with a fake judging look on her face. "Well no Uh...IthinkImightbepregnant" She says all in one breath. "Wait what, say that again" Luna says looking at her inquisitively "I-I'm late" she says awkwardly. "So you think you're pregnant?" Luna asks, sitting down next to her friend. "I-I think so, god, I'm so scared, what if I am and this fucks up everything?" she asks looking at her best friend. "What am I going to do, this is going to mess everything up" she says crying. "Hey, it's fine; this is what you're going to do, after work we are going to buy a pregnancy test and we are going to find out, we'll figure it out from there okay?" she says, hugging her friend to calm her down. "I promise you that everything is going to work out, I love you so much" Luna says smiling at her. "Yeah I love you too" she says smiling back.

That night the girls are sitting in Brooklyn's bedroom, waiting on the results of the pregnancy test. "I'm so damn nervous" Brooklyn says, running her hands through her hair. The blonde leans over to look at the phone in Brooklyn's hand. "Well it looks like time, you ready?" she asks holding the other girl's hand. "As ready as I'll ever be" Brooklyn replies, taking a sharp breath in and flipping the stick around. "Fuck!" she shouts, throwing the stick away. "Okay, so you're pregnant, it's okay, we'll get through this" Luna says, hugging her distraught friend. "No you don't understand, I'm terrified, what if they come after us again? What about Uni? I'm not mature enough to look after a child" Brooklyn says so upset.

"They aren't going to come after us, they don't even know where we are, I've made sure of that, I promise, I'll help you with Uni, you'll still go and you can do it I promise and you are mature enough, think of all of the things that you've went through, you're so strong and you can do this" Luna says, wiping her tears away. "Yeah I know, but I'll always be scared" she says. "I know you will, I will too but as long as we've got each other, we will be okay" Luna says sitting directly in front of her.

"You need to tell Luke" Luna says. "Oh look now you remember his name" she says giggling, wiping away some stray tears. "Yes, but the statement stands, you need to tell him" she says looking at her sternly. "I-I can't I really like him, I don't want to mess this up" she says looking panicked. "If he really loved you, he'd stand by you and he would help you, perhaps you could actually get properly together with him" Luna says smiling slightly. "So call him over, I need to have a little talk with him" Luna says cracking her knuckles and looking vengefully. "O-Okay, you won't go anywhere though? You'll stay here with me" she says looking at her friend with a scared expression. "Yes, I'll be here and I promise that I'll never leave, now, get your cute little ass up and call him" she says laughing at her. "Okay" she says standing and calling her crush as the blonde plots ways to make sure the male doesn't hurt her best friend.
