"Hey, babe, wake up" Luna whispers, shaking her friend. "You have a visitor" she says smirking, before walking out of the room, nodding to Luke who then proceeds to walk into the room. "Hey" he says awkwardly looking at the female. "Luke? What the hell are you doing here? You walked out, remember?" she asks him. "I know, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to worry you, I just panicked, I didn't know what to do, I had to clear my head" he says looking apologetically. "I was so scared, I-I thought you were leaving me" she says, her eyes filling up with tears. "No, No, don't cry, I'm so sorry" he says, sitting down and hugging her. "P-Please never leave me like that again" She says, gripping onto his shirt, crying into his shoulder. "Never, I promise" He says, kissing her forehead. "Oh, I brought you something" He states, walking over to the door where he left the teddy and flowers. "Oh my god" she exclaims holding the teddy in her arms. "I've realised something, I never actually asked you out, so Brooklyn, will you go on a date with me?" he asks, looking into her eyes. "Yes of course I will" she says grinning. "When though?" she asks looking up at him. "Well I was actually thinking now" he says smirking down at the female. "Okay just let me go get ready okay?" She asks the male nods and watches as she walks away. He stands with the flowers and walks into the small kitchen where he sees the short blonde female sitting at the table, scrolling through her phone.
"Hey Luke" she says, not even looking up from her phone. "How the hell did you hear me coming up behind you?" he asks astonished. "Aha, I have great hearing...How'd it go?" she asks smirking, finally putting the phone down and looking at the male. "I'm taking her on a date, she's getting ready" he says, grinning at the blonde. "Of course, I'm happy for you, here I'll put these in a vase" she says standing and taking the flowers from his hands. "Thanks, what are you going to be doing?" he asks her, watching as she fills a vase up with water. "Ehh, I don't know, it's still light, I might go for a walk and photograph some scenery" she says to him. "What are you guys talking about?" Brooklyn asks walking into the room. "Oh, hey we're talking about what I'm going to do; I'm planning on going on a walk" Luna replies.
"Okay, just don't go getting yourself kidnapped" Brooklyn says smirking. "Don't worry about me, I'll be just fine, go have fun" she says smirking at the couple. "Okay don't wait up" Brooklyn says with a wide smile. "I won't" the blonde says walking away from the couple to go look for her camera. "Shall we go then?" Luke asks the brunette. "Yeah, let's go" she says. Taking his hand into hers, the couple walk out of the door. "So where are we going?" she asks the male as they walk to his car. "Ah, it's a surprise, I had to get Ryder to help me decide as I didn't really know, I'm not the romantic type" He says, looking off embarrassingly. "That's okay, everyone has their own definition of romantic" she says grinning over to him.
After around fifteen minutes the couple finally arrive to the destination. "A deserted park...is this it? Is this when you've decided to kill me?" she asks jokingly. "Of course not babe" he says laughing softly. The couple get to the top of the hill and Brooklyn's breath is knocked out of her lungs at the view. "This is stunning" she states in awe. "I just wanted to show you some appreciation" he says awkwardly walking over to the tree and sitting down, motioning for her to sit down with him.
The couple eat and drink to their hearts content, talking and laughing through the night. At the end of the night, Luke drops Brooklyn home with a gentle kiss and a massive grin on both of their faces. Brooklyn walks into the house to see Luna lying on the couch sleeping. Shaking her head, she walks over to the blonde haired female, smirking. "Hey Luna, wake up" she says nudging her awake. Luna bolts up, looking around very disorientated "What happened?!" she shouts. "Nothing, I'm just home, did you seriously wait up on me?" the brunette giggles at her friend. "Oh yeah I guess so was just thinking about some stuff, must have fallen asleep" she sighs running a hand through her hair.
"Hey, what's up? You seem off lately, more I don't know, standoffish" Brooklyn states, sitting next to her friend. "It's nothing don't worry I guess I've just been a little on edge lately but It's fine, nothing major for you to worry about" she states. "L, I know you, you don't have to shelter me from whatever you're thinking about, I'm a big girl I can handle it" Brooklyn says slightly annoyed. "Brook honestly it's nothing, I promise" "I think you should get with Ryder" she says, smiling cheekily. "What the hell, where did that come from?" the blonde says what a loud laugh. "I don't know, on my date we were talking about Ryder and Luke said he thought you were cute when he met you" she says amused at her friend's reaction. "Bullshit, anyway I'm not interested in dating anyone right now, moving on we should get to bed, it's Kinda late" Luna says, blushing slightly "Sure, sure".
Three weeks later, Brooklyn is at college, sighing as she tries to find inspiration in the small lunch hall that she is in. Luke walks up behind her, the biggest smile on his face as he makes his way towards the girl that he can finally call his. "Hey babe" he says walking up to her "Oh hey Luke, what's up?" she asks him "nothing much, just came to see my beautiful girlfriend" he flirts "that was seriously cheesy" she laughs with a slight blush in her face, "yeah I know but you love it...shouldn't you be in class?" he wonders out loud. "Oh yeah I'm attempting to get some inspiration but nothing so far, what about you, shouldn't you be in class?" the male just dismisses the thought and avoids the question without the brunette noticing, the two part ways with plans to meet up after their classes were finished which seemed to be at the same time. Meanwhile at the cafe Luna is hard at work making drinks and serving tables when a tall blonde male walks in "How may I help- Oh it's you" Luna says halfway through her statement. "I'm sure that isn't how you're supposed to greet a customer" Ryder says with a massive smile on his face. "Whatever, what can I get you?" she asks, moving to get a notepad. "Oh Uh I actually came here to talk to you" he says casually. "I'm Kinda busy, so order something or leave, I'm not really allowed to talk to anyone other than Brooke because the owner knows her" the male sighs and looks down at the shorter female "Fine, what time do you get off?" he asks her "I get off at twelve o'clock tonight" she says sighing "that's a long time away" "Yeah I know, but we need it, I'm off tomorrow afternoon though, we can talk then" she says and goes to walk away however the male grabs her wrist, making her turn back around. "How are you getting home tonight?" he asks with unease "I'm getting home like I always do, bus" she states. His eyes widen "What that's dangerous as hell" "Well I'd rather that than walk" she says smiling "I'll come pick you up and drop you off" he says "No I'm fine I can get myself home, I'm a strong girl" she says, feeling offended. "I never said you were but you'll be tired and it'll probably be easier for you" he persuades "Okay fine, sure" she sighs, already done "alright, see you at twelve he smirks".
