The years Y/n had been separated by her familiar, it almost felt like centuries since then.

She had been abandoned, alone and lost, until a boy and his family saved her. The two grew a particular bond from the moment they met gazes. A strange yet charming bond.

Years later, they two lived in the same apartment, still bound to each other and completely oblivious to this pulling emotion towards each other. The two teens were chatting idly on the couch, until suddenly, Y/n's tone shifted with the words; "Hey, Makoto?"

"Hmm? Yeah, Y/n?" He perked up, eyes curious as it roamed through hers.

"I... I think I'm scared." She replied, tapping the tips of her fingers together. Makoto raised a brow, gazing at her subtly worried face. "Why's that?"

"Well... Imagine if you and your parents hated me. That's be [pretty bad, huh? Abandoned and lonely without anyone... I dunno, it was a dream from last night I had. Pretty funny, huh?" She explained.

Of-guard, she was pulled into Makoto's embrace, held on tightly and affectionately. "Y/n don't say such bad things! We took you in because we felt sorry for you, we loved you... I love you."

The two stayed like that, both ending up crying from the atmosphere's sad yet uplifting tension.

"Makoto... I love you too."
