Daemons

Waking the next morning the group of got ready for there day of moving, going there ways they soon found out that the dorms they will be staying in are made by class as well as students will be paired into roommates. paired up are, Panda with James, Alexander with Kazuya and the three girls getting a massive room made for three. "I think this is going to be fun" Sialia jumped onto her chosen bed between the other two girls. "I l-look forward to working with you t-two while we are at school" Allison spoke softly while fidgeting with her fingers before being pet on the head by Ora who pet her head while walking past to her desk on the other side of the room.

"If you ever need anything just feel free to ask okey", Allison smiled and nodded her head. "i will, thank you very much". Seeing this side of Allison made the sisters look on with stars in there eyes and tackle hug the small girl. "YOU'RE SO ADORABLE".

Wednesday, Vallenfall  academe.

"I hope you're moving into the dorms went swimming, because that was you're break, tomorrow we head into the forest to the south of the kingdom, has anyone killed or seen a daemon before?". Velox looked over the students noting that Alexander and Kazuya were the only ones to raise there hands. "that's more than i expected to be frank, so i don't need to tell the two of you how dangerous they can be, as for the rest of you a daemon is a creature or even in rare cases, humans, who have been corrupted by magic, in humans it's normally built up hatred or trying to use magics that should only be tried by experienced magicians. More commonly animals end up going rabid after being exposed to the darker side of magic or even a high level of exposer". 

"Does that mean we will be going after a daemon?" asked Panda raising his hand then lowering it when Velox turned to him. "Correct, there's been a death by what was described to be a daemonized bear, so as you are all in the top class, it's our job to investigate and kill it if found, of course if anyone is to afraid the door is right there". He said this while pointing the the door, when no one stood up or even turned away he nodded while standing up straight from leaning leaning on his desk. "We will meet at the entrance to the school tomorrow morning, bring your weapons and any camping equipment, now onto class". 

"Going camping already? things move quickly here huh?" Kazuya asked Sialia as he walked next to her, while waiting for a comment he got a shiver up his spine causing him to turn around to see Ora staring daggers into him while she held light conversation with Alexander and James. "Yea i have to admit even i'm a little surprised at that we we're about to go and kill a daemon, I've only ever heard stories about them but are they really so dangerous only skilled mages and swordsmen should hunt them? now that i think back you raised you're hand when the teacher asked us if we have killed one, when did that happen?". Kazuya looked down slightly thinking back to his childhood and what he and his small family had to go through and the event that brought him to were he was today. "I'd rather not talk about it yet, i'll see tomorrow". "o-okey, cya" Sialia said softly regretting having asked as it seemed to be a sensitive topic. 

Vallenfall dorms

"Cyas int he morning", "Night guys" Alexander and Kazuya waved to James and Panda as they retired to their room for the night. "Hey Kazuya? Ora told me you seemed upset when Sialia asked you about how we have killed a daemon, you don't dislike her anymore do you?" Getting into his bed Kazuya leaned his head in his hand while facing the red head. "Nope, shes been pretty nice to me so far, shes a good person so i don't hate her for asking questions like that, i just don't feel like talking about it right now". Alexander smiled lightly and tilted his head to the side while about to get into his own bed. "So you like Sialia?". Blank face turning to one of annoyance  he rolled over in his bed covering his face a bit. "None of your business fire boy". Alexander laid in his bed chuckling loudly at the white haired boy who seemed to be pouting. "I can see why, shes pretty and very kind, just make sure you don't get to ahead of yourself or you might scare her off", "alright two can play at that game, got the hots for Ora do ya?", "Not telling, fufufu". Alexander chuckled some more while turning over and snuffing out his light next to his bed. "I think we are going to be great friends Kazy", "don't come up with nicknames so easily when we still haven't known each other that long". "That's no fun, we're more than likely going to be in the same class for a few years, and what's wrong with having you're classmate as a friend huh?". "what ever fire crotch, lets get some sleep". Kazuya snuffed out his own light while closing his eyes and thinking back to what his mother said before he left his home village. "Make sure you be nicer to people, that i don't care attitude won't do you any good in the kingdom, and make some friends while you're there, i heard the girls a very pretty". She said the last part of her sentence in a sing song voice. "Friend huh? guess it is kinda nice". With their final thoughts and a goodnight the two and the rest of the class in their respective rooms drifted off to sleep ready for there dangerous task that awaits them.

The next morning at the school gate

"Kaz, Kaz, KAZ- OUCH!". With a startle Kaz woke up lifting his head having his forehead meet Alexanders causing the two to roll onto the floor holding there heads. "I tried to wake you up four times already, if we don't go now the teach is gonna be mad, I've put your bags by the door already". Kaz looked at the door where his bags sat and looked at the clock on the wall seeing they didn't have long to make it to school. "Why didn't you wake me up sooner!" "you looked so peaceful probably dreaming about Sialia so i left you be to wake up yourself, at least before i thought you would wake yourself up". While talking Kaz got himself dressed and the two ran toward the school entrance where Velox was tapping his foot. "Almost late, at least everyone is here now". Sialia walked over to Kaz and tried not to giggle. "Did you only just wake up?" "now why would you assume that?" Sialia pointed to his head. "Cause you've got bedhead silly" letting out a giggle she reached up on the tips of her toes and started to pat his hair down as Kazuyas cheeks turned red, meanwhile Ora was giving Alexander a lecture about waking up on time not believing it was all Kazuyas fault they were almost left behind. "Now if everyone is ready we will depart". Allison raised her hand and spoke in her usual soft tone. "E-exuse me Mr Velox but doesn't it take a long time to get to the south of the kingdom? won't it be bad if the daemon bear is left that long?". "Good question, I don't believe any of you have learned teleportation magic yet". 

With a wave of his hand a purple circle with strange writing on it appeared before opening into a hole that was black in the center. "This is a teleportation door, this will take us to the start of the forest, from there we will be walking in search of the daemon bear, be on the lookout and if we don't find it by nightfall we will set up camp, now lets go". With that one by one the teacher and students walked through the magical door toward there task.
