Chapter Four: Please Tell Me You Mean A Goat

When a loud bang was heard throughout the Helicarrier Director Fury hoped to a God he had never believed in that it hadn't been Loki's magic.

Maria Hill and Phil Coulson exchanged worried glances and ran to the sound with Fury close after.

They reached the corridor with the science rooms and found a group of agents looking like they had just swallowed a lemon.

"Agent Sikima! What happened?" Asked Maria.

"I- I saw a- a kid!"

Maria looked like she thought the agent was crazy, Phil had a WTF look about him and Fury looked like he wanted to bang his head against a wall.

"For the first time in my life." Said Phil slowly. "I'm hoping you mean the Avengers have gone and set a baby goat loose in the Helicarrier."

"No Agent Coulson. He means an actual child." Said another agent coming up to them.

A female agent followed them too.

"I saw a kid as well Director Fury." She said.

"Same one or multiple?" Asked Fury putting hid head in his hands.

"I saw a boy with sandy brown hair." She said frowning.

"And I saw a little girl with light red hair." Said Agent Sikima.

"So..... Just two?" Asked Phil hopefully.

"As far as we know......" Said Maria.

"Director Fury!" Yelled an agent.

"What?"

"There's a- a child in the science lab!"

Phil, Maria and Fury looked at each other before running up to the room where the agent was.

Sitting in a corner shivering from the very loose underwear he was wearing was a little boy with sandy brown hair.

"Go on." Whispered Coulson pushing Hill forward.

"Why me?" She whispered back angrily.

"You really want me to answer that?"

Maria groaned and walked up to the boy and knelt down.

"Hello." She said in a voice she hoped was friendly. "How did you get here?"

"I- I don't know ma- ma'am."

"Well what's your name?

"Steve Rogers ma'am."

You could have heard a pin drop in that room.

Maria's face looked like someone had slammed a brick on it.

"Your. Captain. America?" She asked desperately.

"Who?" He asked cutely.

"Oh my god!" Moaned Phil pulling his hair.

"Agent Sikima could you please take Mr. Rodgers back to my office." Sighed Fury.

"Yes sir." He said hurriedly picking up Steve and walking out of the room.

"Do you think the rest of the Avengers are like this?" Asked Maria quietly.

"Yes." Fury groaned.

He was going to kill Loki. When he had said 'as helpless as a child' he hadn't actually meant 'turn the worlds best heroes into children!'

"So we still need to find five other children." Said Coulson counting them on his fingers.

"We're going to have some issues with that." Said Fury.
