Chapter Three: A Deal With The Devil

Director Fury walked down the halls to where Loki was being held while on earth.

He still couldn't believe that he'd allowed Loki here on earth again but Odin had taken away his magic and Fury could see just how much Loki wished to leave this place.

Loki's suffering vs Fury having to look at him every day.

He could deal with it.

But now he was doing something that went against everything he stood for.

He was about to make a deal with the devil.

Well not the actual devil but Loki was pretty close to it.

Opening the door Fury found Loki in the glass cage that he had first stayed in.

Loki heard him coming and smirked.

"You want something." He said with his eyes closed.

"And how would you know?"

"Well you know, I am the God of Mischievous and Lies."

"Then you know what I want?"

"Oh no. I'm not that good. But even the sounds of screams reaches down here. I'm assuming your precious heroes have gone and destroyed something again?"

Fury glared at him and started to pace.

"On Easter they put chocolate eggs all over the Helicarrier, set loose a bunch of rabbits and photoshopped agents heads onto bunny photos.

"At the Christmas Eve party they spiked the eggnog, set a reindeer loose and overrode the security on the speakers so Jingle bell rock was playing all night."

"Last week they did paintball in the corridors and and Stark got drunk off his ass and spray painted a target on the bottom of the Helicarrier!"

"And this week they flood the cafeteria, cover the council room in glitter and BEDAZZLE MY EYEPATCH!!!!!!" Fury yelled.

Loki chuckled before putting on a straight face.

"And you need me for? Seems their doing the mischief pretty well themselves."

"I need you to punish them! I need you to do something to them. Temporarily! Something that will wear off in about a month. Something that makes them as helpless as children! Then they'll stop their childish pranks!"

"And what will I get in return?"

"Some revenge on the Avengers."

"Give me back my magic."

"How about my bullets in your face?"

"Then no deal."

"For half an hour." Growled Fury.

"An hour."

"45 minutes."

"50"

"Half an hour."

"45 minutes."

"Deal."

"I'd shake your hand Fury but there seems to be glass in the way."

"I'd ask what your going to do Loki but I think the less I know the better."

"Agreed. You'll also need to let me out of the cage."

"No way in hell."

"My magic does not work long ranged. I will need to be in the same room as them to do the spell."

Fury looked at him for a long time before nodding.

"For the spell only." He turned and walked out of the room.

Loki watched him go with a sly smile.

"The Avengers will wish they never messed with Loki."
